Bbc has an article posted 6 hours ago and they have posted some of the mentions fans have sent to them.

This guys made it

Joe Baker!*My dad took me to see Hibernian in the late 1950s. He already had an England cap - first to get one not having played for an English club - then I saw him again in 1971, when he returned to Hibs, sadly past his best by then.*Grant McCulloch, Edinburgh

Nothing exciting but just thought I would share.

Along with Gordon Smith, Joe Baker was my dad's hero. He swore he was better than Lawrie Reilly. I have read a bit about Joe Baker, and apparently at Torino Denis Law was considered to be the slightly better of the two forwards, so I don't believe Joe Baker to have been the greatest of them all, regardless of how good he was. For this reason I would go for someone else. Henrik Larsson. Though I could be being slightly biased due to his association with Scottish football.

If I was being asked who was the best forward to play for Hibs, I would say Joe Baker on paper. Though Leigh Griffiths could easily have been on that list if it were not for all his issues which held him back. The lad had truly world class potential, and he was much better than Wee Robbo.

Saw the original Ronaldo tear Bilbao apart one night at the Bernabeu. He was unstoppable.
He also had Zidane, Figo, Raul and Beckham in support...
Real lost six of their last seven league games and finished fourth that season!

I’m certain if I’d had the pleasure of seeing Ronaldo, he’d be top of my list. Absolute class.

Kenny Dalgleish, Joe Baker, Jimmy O'Rourke for me. Derek Riordan was the best finisher in modern Hibs times for me.

In my time watching Hibs we've had some terrific goal scorers. Apart from the usual choices Joe McBride should get a mention. Never fully fit after his knee op at Celtic he was practically flawless in front of goal.
Denis Law was electric for Scotland in the early 60s when we started beating England at Hampden for the first time since before the war.

Alfredo Di Stefano .
Played in an era when the football was heavier than the modern ball we know these days.
Remarkable footballer, along with his playing partner Ferenc Puskas ,a football genius he was too

Scored in 5 consecutive European Cup Finals ..

Of the forwards I've personally seen I'd go for:

Denis Law
Joe Baker
Jimmy Greaves
Gabriel Batistuta

In terms of being a wee bit different, I loved watching Tony Yeboah play. Was almost a god at Leeds United (as I recall it anyway).

As an out and out number 9 that I've seen, I would say R9 who at his peak was unstoppable and from psv till real Ruud was very underrated for me.

Obviously the game has changed now when it comes to the term forward so that would be Messi.

Seen Thierry Henry a number of times down here. Hard to top that. Seen Messi, C Ronaldo, Lewandowski and Ibrahimovich (who was outclassed by his teammate Cavani the game I seen.)

Larsson I seen a lot and would not have him far off them in terms of displays. Incredible player. Seen Drogba give masterclass in forward play at Stamford Bridge once. Hate Chelsea but he was relentless and had both centre backs terrified.

Riordan the best I've seen in a Hibs shirt. Outrageous talent. Griffiths just behind.
