Read that Nisbet and Bushiri were with the squad doing light training last week too, obviously early stages but good news, I didn't see Magennis when he came off the bench last week, how off the pace did he look with the time out? On the bench so atleast not another injury.

Lewis Miller injured? I haven't heard anything bout that, would play Cadden ahead of him all day but surely decent cover on the bench, know LJ was pissed off with him for something last month when he was meant to come off the bench but surely not left out for that leaving no cover for right back.

I wouldn't have sent Mcelalland on loan either, quite liked the look of him, Mcgregor was retiring end of last season although i've never seen Fish play, he might be class.

Can see a win for us though, the big mans gonna get his first goal I think, be nice to see Mckirdy come on and score too, lively player bit of a character as well I like him. plenty midfield and forward options on the bench, apart from JDH but he cant be far away, sure they said 2 weeks after we pumped goodwin.

Since missing the sitter against St Mirren though all confidence seems to have gone and he looks like he doesn’t know what he’s doing when he gets the ball. Too many touches and runs into folk or just a poor touch.

McKirdy will start next week I think but I’m not sure about him off the left, all his goals/clips I saw of him at Swindon seemed to be on the right or through the middle.

Kukharevych just needs something to fall as he’s doing everything else.

Totally agreed - he’s a real class act and his leadership qualities are very good as well. An astute signing who could be a mainstay for us for a while yet!

Because of the relentless pressure we put on the ball by having midfield and Porto quickly backing up our forwards, once again the opposition player has no choice but to foul him...it's this pressure and overload and wave of quick attack with players supporting that is leading to the red cards, how the chumps at Soccersound and Soccerscene don't understand that just sums up how limited and narrow minded they are in their views

Looked to me like he has a touch of the footballing yips. Does something good - control the ball and outpace a defender, say - and then brain freezes as he doesn't have the confidence to do anything with the chance. I kept hoping something will come off for him.

Good result and a pretty decent performance all things considered.

Thought we fell away a bit in spells but overall we were the better team and deserved the win. Should have ended up playing against 8 or 9 as well - the tackle on Campbell was a shocker and the Motherwell boy got booked for his tackle on Boyle and then proceeded to throw the ball 30 yards away whilst the ref was showing him the card.

Who's to say it was Ryan's head skull that was hit, it could well have been his jaw he hit during the header, he was above the defender when he attacked the ball.
