Truly remarkable that this dimwit is asking for common sense.

Basically say what you want, then when you’re pulled up for over the top comments that cross the line, plead for common sense.

Bolt, Jim.I hope he gets common sense, which means the rules will be applied to him. Simple.

Bolt, Jim.

He should be pulled up for the “common sense” comment as well. Clearly thinks he’s done nothing wrong. He should at least respect the process you would have thought

Exactly. Common sense = Goodwin gets hammered.

Haven't read the article, but if he's pointing out that Gerrard made equally inappropriate comments about Ryan Porteous without facing any SFA charge, then he's got a point!

Since when did 2 wrongs make a right? awe, forgot it does in parts of Scotland.

I haven't read this whole thread, so apologies if this question has already been answered. How many penalties has Ryan won since breaking into the first team?

Two I think

If you get fouled in the box you’re not really “winning” a penalty? Doesn’t feel like the right phrase to use!

Exactly this.

How many times has Porteous been fouled in the opposition box leading to a penalty.

Twice.

Total dive by the Aberdeen striker to win a penalty. Killie keeper was just lying on the ground and the guy deliberately falls over him. Probably encouraged by his manager to do it.

Noticed that myself. Never heard Goodwin complain about the decision funnily enough.

Embarrassing. Possibly even more embarrassing the little said about it on Sportscene this week as Porteous wasn’t involved. I think Stewart said it wasn’t a penalty and that was it.

Wonder did he have a word with ref before the match again too.Just seen Dons penalty and thought it was a dive too .Goodwin won't harp on about this one though .Double standards Mr Goodwin.

Yep, pundits on Sportscene said it was soft and probably not a penalty. Stewart, I think, said that Sheep player initiated the contact but no condemnation. Usual double standards. Incidentally I think Aberdeen have had 4 league pens this season to our 1!

Thought exactly the same, wouldn't say anything when it comes to his own team though. He's a complete walloper

That was far less of a penalty than the Porteous "dive". Also no mention on Sportscene of the crude off the ball body check on Porteous this afternoon. Michael Stewart was humming and hawing and reluctantly backtracking on some of his nonsense about Hibs and Porteous but that was it.

So did he mentions Hibs yesterday in interviews? Saw a couple of posts on twitter which suggested this

Blatant cheating from Aberdeen to win their 4th penalty in 4 home games but no forensic analysis of that.
