Not that impressed with what I've seen so far tbh - we don't look much better than last season. Only consolation is we are still missing about 7 players but we deffo need at least another 2 - a new CH and a new midfielder

Feel like we just never seem to get a clean shot at goal, or can capitalise on endless corners. We do a lot of things right, but just miss that extra bit. I don't know what it is exactly.

Also, McGeady has been OK despite missing a penalty, nothing hes done is cause for concern other than that miss, hes created space and chances pretty consistently.

It’s that complacency that causes results like the one V Falkirk, can’t have ideas of being captain or playing at a higher level when you can’t screw the nut and be professional against guys who are playing their cup final it’s so frustrating as has been said in other posts if Hanlon or Rocky play like him they’d be hammered for that kind of performance I hope he’s subbed for the young guy at half time now we have the cushion.

Been impressed with Kenneh looking forward to watching him through the season, Newell looks like more licence to get forward than previously 2 well taken goals and a pretty decent all round performance.

He does some very good things then completely switches off. If he wants to move up the levels he needs to improve this.

I do think he should be scoring more headers from set pieces - it’s definitely a strength of his.

It's easy to forget how bad we were last season, we need to give the manager time to really change things.

Oddly I felt the x2 pre-season games in Portugal we looked better (ok Hartlepool were awful) but Clyde 2nd half, Falkirk and today we haven't looked very fluid and gone back to slow - predictable football.

This 2nd half has been rubbish against basically a pub team.

We’ve been as good as we’ve had to be this 2nd half. Game was over when we went in 3-1 up

We definitely need to bring another couple quality players or we’re going to struggle against better opposition

We needed a win. It looks like we are going to get one. We could have done with a few more goals though as if it comes down to being a best runner up then goal difference could matter.

There has been plenty to like today but, much like the Clyde game, in spite of the win there are a fair few red flags that need addressed. We are going to have to improve when we come up against a better quality of opposition.

I don't think we're better without Ryan, but if he's going to play like he has the last 2 games and refuse a contract, then it is probably for the best if we ship him out. Problem is, he's not signing a new deal as assume he wants away, but there doesn't seem to be anyone wanting to take him.

Best case he signs an extension with a release clause and we see him back to his best, but this Ryan is a liability and I have next to no hope it's a fluke performance. He's emotional, always has been and it's always been to his detriment, this feels like his heads all over the shop and the last thing we, or he needs is to continue struggling with the way our fans seem to love abusing our own players.

Manager has already said this week it could be 10 to 12 games in before he should be judged as it may tske that long to get key injured players back and up to speed and this issue waiting on work permits may need same period to get cleared and match fit and embedded Ito the team and thsts before we make another couple of signings

Gotta be honest it’s a win but feeling rather disappointed, no one really stood out for me , few plays looking like they don’t want to be there either
