Sorry if this has been covered before, but I purchased a new season ticket about 3 hours ago and have yet to receive a confirmation e-mail from the club. I would have expected an acknowledgement, have any re-newers received anything?
I renewed mine yesterday and got a confirmation email from the ticket office pretty much straight away.

Down around 20% then, if we get into 5 figures we’ll be doing well I would think.

1500 doesn't seem like a big number to overcome if we announced JDT

We were at just over 9k on 1st June 2021.

I'm in the west upper in the 2nd front row.
At the start of the season every seat in my block on my row, and the row in front, was full. Recently, there's been a handful of people at most in each row.
I think you'll get one easily.
I’m front row of West Upper, and have more often than not had a row of about 8 seats to myself. All ST’s but the holders rarely been this season.
Reckon a few might crop up for sale this time round but you never know, they could well be renewed and the users returning after opting for the live streaming rather than attending.

Myself, nephew and brother moved from the west upper front row to the west lower last year. The stairs were beginning a bit of a challenge. Brother and nephew have renewed this year. Certainly for the moment I’m out. Been going since 1967 but all does not feel right at ER and I’ve lost my enthusiasm, especially with the way some fans seem to think attended a game is a license to shout abuse as the team and at supporters. This time last year season there was such great optimism. I was even mucking in helping to change the seats in the east and generally clean the place up. Where did it all go wrong?

Correct decision, glad the club's done this.
Had no choice really. Embarrassing sales so far.

These ST sales will put to bed any lingering misconceptions Ron Gordon and his management team might have about their performance to date. It takes a lot to brass of so many fans and these numbers are akin to us being relegated - maybe even worse !
RG needs to sort out the manager position before 31 May and give the reluctants some reason to renew. Just battering out reminder emails won't cut it. It's not loss of memory that's the problem.

6500 sold so far this year against just over 8000 at the same stage last year so a reduction of approx 20%.

I still don't think we will be much down on last season if at all by the time the new season kicks off. Went down got our 4 today and it won't be long before people miss the football, excitement of a new manager and new signings will see ticket sales pick up. There of course will be those who won't be able to commit to a ticket due to finances as everyone looks to tighten their belt.

I think a lot will depend on managers and signings.
I'd argue the former might not even be all that important if we follow it up with a couple of decent signings early doors. Marshall is a good start but another household name might just capture the imagination.

I'm in the front row of the upper west on the 18 yard line at the Dunbar end. We have 5 STs between us and that was the first time all year I think we managed 4 at the game.(two weren't St holders) I think they are all renewed now and it wouldn't surprise me if all the regulars round us have all renewed too. My mate hasn't used his since Covid started so I think lack of bums in seats doesn't really indicate availability. Makes sense to extend the deadline but I'm hoping we can get a bit more central or similar seats up the other end. If not no issue as our seats are excellent

We’ve actually sold an awful lot more than I’d have expected us to, quite far from doom and gloom territory imo.
Most encouraging, I’d say, would be that there were a high proportion of the group I go with who haven’t renewed but may well do over the next few months if we get a manager and a few signings to excite. So there are switherers out there to be won over, we’re quite far from our upper limit so far.
And we’re not talking about anything unrealistic. Just an indication that Hibs know what they’re doing, and that the games will be more enjoyable next season than last season.

Totally agree with you Smartie looks decent considering we’ve to announce new manager (depending who it is could really ramp up sales ) then in theory possibly a few good signings in our group of six four of us have renewed the other two are waiting to see manager/player signings let’s get behind the new manager whoever it is by purchasing season tickets so he can hopefully sign good players let’s do it :flag:

6,500 is more than I thought would have signed up by now but the problem will be that this number is unlikely to get much higher without an inspiring managerial appointment which would be very worrying.
One thing to bear in mind between last year and this year is when the season tickets went on sale. I believe this year season tickets went on sale around 3 weeks earlier than they did last year but we're still around 20% down on this time last year.
That will be very worrying to everyone within the boardroom at Hibs.

I bit the bullet this morning and renewed on the 6 month plan, I usually just pay in full with my savings but they got hammered before renewal time. Need to ask the boss for a pay rise again!! I am sure he will get sick of saying no to me eventually :greengrin
I renewed our 2 tickets this afternoon, I had a problem trying to get a 6 month deal. I dropped the ticket office an e mail and Mel was in touch within 10 minutes and sorted out tickets for me once again.
I have said it on here before the staff in the ticket office are doing a great job and deserve any praise that they receive. Thank you once again Mel and the rest of the office staff.

Of our group of 5 I'm the only one to have renewed so far ( this morning ) but its a certainty 3 of the others are going to renew no matter what happens and the other one is 90% sure to.
I'm inclined to think given our current on field situation and the economic climate we wont reach last years total even if we do appoint a stellar name as manager and some players known to be decent, but if we get the last two right we might get closer than some folk think we will.

Renewed mine last week. Due to my circumstances I'll probably only be able to attend about six home games. Pleased to have made it to the match on Sunday and seeing us score a few goals at the same time. Very fitting that the Dnipro kids were there to see us score a few. Fingers crossed that they had an enjoyable day out.

Hibs reunited or something ? Anyone remember ?

I am the same, only me of our small group has renewed although the other 2 will definitely do it by the end of the month. I still think we will sell at least 10k which all things considered would be pretty decent.

Yeah but all season tickets that were sold last year still show as unavailable on the system as the club is holding them until 31 May. So that people can keep their seats if they want. There are about 4000 seats that will be showing as unavailable that have not have been renewed.
True availability will become clear from 1 June onwards.

This is brutally accurate.
At the moment it can't be anything but blind loyalty that is making people renew. Was speaking to a friend today who's a West brom fan and they're 329 adult and 26 kid for 23 home games!! The pricing of scottish football not only at us has been horrible for years.

I think they only went back on sale yesterday so probably early days yet to see if it’s impacted on numbers.
