I’m still concerned about the structure and what happens with the staff Ross brought in.
Plus the playing squad depth.
Ben has gone from really backing him not long ago to a decision being made to sack him. Must have been over video call as Ron as far as I’m aware isn’t in Scotland.
Ross recently signed a new contract so you wonder if there was a clause in the contract also.

Often coaches stay on - im sure rangers kept quite a few of there coaching staff when GVB took over
I suspect Potter will be gone too and the new man will bring in an assistant

Wing games, folk happy.
Lose game, in the manner we are, folk no happy.
Shocker eh.
That's not strictly true - we've got the additional flair play requirement. No point just winning games etc.

Is wanting to play with a bit of flair a bad thing ?

Never, but it's not always possible.

To an extent.
We won games last season and, despite many not particularly enjoying it, they couldn’t really complain. And bought season tickets in good numbers.
Once the results stop coming, the pish performances become more of an issue.

No - but we have to be ready to be comfy with a constant merrygoround of managers and a permanent "in transition" period.

They did complain though. Which meant the inevitable poor run was going to be jumped on.

We are absolutely not too good to go down. Yes the squad has talent, but much betters teams than us have been relegated. I think that JRs time is up imo but I suspect he'll get to the final.
We really need to win our next 2 games though, or an absolute minimum of 4 points. If we can't do that, I'm not sure how anyone could still stand by him.
Oh and if we play like last night in the final we're going to get an absolute doing.
Much better squads than this Hibs one have never been relegated in Scotland. Not even close.

Honestly, you need to wake up and smell the coffee. I've said this for week's but will repeat.
We are a poor side in a very poor league. Our football is dire.
Keep telling yourself it will all be OK though.
We'll be nowhere near relegation. Repeat all you like.

Gerrard took a lot of staff with him to Villa.
His assistant Beale and Gary Mac plus a few others.
Villa only wanted a Head Coach and assistant but they have had to take on several other members of staff to sit alongside staff like Austin McPhee who is already there doing the set pieces !!
A lack of decent Rangers staff probably goes them a final place as the guys who took the semi final looked way out their depth against Hibs.

I think a club our size we will never have managers for any length of time, if they are crap they will get punted, successful they will get headhunted. Maybe we should go for a director of football who signs players, sets the ethos of how we play and let a coach coach.
