Who really cares about the performance today? If we win then it's huge in the race for 3rd place. For weeks we have been told we don't win when we go behind (with justification because it was true) so if we can do that today then it's a good thing.

I would love for this Hibs team to be more expansive and exciting and free flowing but it's a winter pitch in Scotland at the business end of the season. I'll take any win and the post mortem can wait for another day.

I’ve chosen to not watch the game today as Hibs are generally pretty brutal viewing and I’ve simply not enjoyed recent weeks / months but it’s amazing the different perspective you have on games when you’re not totally immersed in the action.

Only one thing matters now - 3 points - and the same is probably true for every game until 3rd place is confirmed.

We are a much better team with Nisbet on the park imo and hopefully the goal will renew his confidence after that semi penalty miss and then being dropped and never really getting a chance to get going again. Special mention to Hanlon who drove us on and his contribution for the winner was a real Captains Part physically driving us forward and getting an assist

It’s not quite enough that it’s irretrievable for Aberdeen to get the GD back but it would take a couple heavy defeats for us and a couple big wins for Aberdeen so it’s unlikely. :agree:

If we can match their result next week we’ll be in a very good position. If we can better it then we’re not far off being over the line I reckon.
