I've been a critic, when I felt it was merited, but he has been spot on today. It would have been easy to tinker after a tough run of games and with this being such a crucial one but he stuck with what has been working. Good subs and we have totally nullified Aberdeen. A scrappy 10 minutes in the 1st half before we scored is the only period we haven't dominated or looked comfortable.

In saying that we just need to step it up again now. Sitting a bit deep and a couple of wee warnings.

Looked like a team and well organised. We needed that and that’s the standards we need to take into every game.

Aberdeen were poor but we made them struggle and for once felt like we bullied them.

Fantastic result built out of some super individual performances and a thoroughly solid team effort.

BTW Aberdeen were shocking, absolutely brutal.

Not only did we out muscle the Dons in midfield, looked solid at the back and gave them lots of headaches upfront with Boylers movement and Doidge's work rate but we also played some nice stuff on a very difficult pitch. Well done the Cabbage on our Cabbage patch :wink::greengrin

I have what some folks call a "trick shoulder" - long story.

A bit of pressure at the wrong angle and out it pops. If I'm quick enough I can reverse the pop.

Happened so many times there's actually not that much pain now. Biggest problem after popping is weakness and tenderness and it's hard to lift my arm for some time.

Harper spoke about him as a person as well as as a player and will have had the benefit of having trained with him.

Wilkins wasn't a success as a player at Hibs, but surely you can understand how a very young player making their way in the game might have a rosy opinion of what a guy like Wilkins might have brought to the table, other than just 1st team performances for Hibs?
