Better second half - Allan played well when he came on, really impressed by Doig, some good imdividual performances - wasn't "pretty", but another 3 points, top of the league ftm ...

We look really solid as a team. Really impressed by Doig and the new signing have all improved us. Great 3 points and the first time in my football watching lifetime we have won the first 3 league games. Dare to dream, if Leicester can do it then who knows.

We struggled but showed great resilience to come away with 3 points. A bit worried about how light we looked in midfield but the whole defence was brilliant. Gogic has made a massive difference.

With Kamberi and Jackson mow gone hopefully we'll see a couple more in.

Great result in the grand scheme of things. UTD were a solid enough team and they have a better manager than last time.

Special mentions to Doig and McGinn who were superb and I thought Gogic was really good along with the CH’s.

Doidge, Newall were good 2nd half and Allan provides a bit of composure when he came on.

Thought Doidge was superb tonight. Great hold up play and some good work at the back towards the end. Also won a good few free kicks to take the pressure off just when we needed it.

That's 2 really impressive away wins on the bounce, albeit against markedly different quality sides (looks like Livi might be a team that struggles this year).

United never really looked like threatening us going forward, but were pretty solid in defence and midfield. Doidge took his goal well - thank goodness there isn't VAR up here though, or it would probably have been 1 point.

Defence again magnificent, Rocky never had a shot to save. Great energy and teamwork all over the pitch, one wee incident in second half, Joe Newell bust a gut in midfield to run 10 yards to close their player down inside their half, so he had to pass back to the keeper - great "unseen work"!

A load of candidates for MOTM, but for me Doig edged it. He'll need to be rested and looked after as the season progresses but a great find.

Oh and we nearly always kept possession from throw-ins, that goes back a lot longer than 1974!!

First time since 1974 we’ve won first three games in the top league.

Just been having a look at those results: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1974%E2%80%9375_Hibernian_F.C._season. What's really interesting is that, apart from the games against Celtic, The Actual Rangers and Hearts, our attendances are much bigger now (or at any rate when we have crowds) and the old terracing meant we could get a higher attendance against Rangers at ER than at Ibrox.

A win against Motherwell on Saturday would see us equal our 1974 run of 4 wins out of 4.

Not the prettiest but a wins a win, Doig looks a great prospect, good seeing that Ross can change the shape of play when it's not working for us, our forwards are on fire, top of the league and confidence will be high

He’s been a rock the last 3 games. All about opinions when it comes to players performances. I actually thought Horgan was doing okay but the shift of formation didn’t quite suit him.

Whole team defended well at times.

I know the performance wasn’t great but we’ve went to what I believe will be a mid table side and won. Dundee Utd will be fine this season. Just beat Motherwell away which is difficult and we’ve got the win. We have struggled to win ugly so it’s good to see
