Much, much better performance today particularly in the middle of the park. Defence and keeper solid and the ball stuck up top. Doidge and Nisbet looks like a partnership that could work.

1st half was brilliant, 2nd half was a professional job and bar a bad refereeing decision/daft action by Porteous (delete as appropriate if a clearer picture becomes available) then it would have been even more comfortable.

The not quite finished stand speaks for itself and getting away with actually saying they spent all that money just to avoid relegation.

The laddie Nisbet looks a prospect, and although it's only 90 minutes him and Doidge look a good foil for each other.

I thought Doig looked a bit lost last week but he looked more accomplished and solid this week - defended stoutly and picked his time to go forward.

Only disappointment was Boyle, I thought he picked the wrong option and looked from the video feed like he was more interested in having a laugh and joke with the Livingston players rather than getting about the pitch and pulling them out their shape.

Good win though against a stuffy team that I think will struggle and hopefully go down.

That’s the thing, the problem was us not replacing him, not letting him go. Now we’ve done so, and still looking to strengthen that position further then it’ll stand us in good stead.
