I quite like them because I like simple strips. But when I see that I wonder why people hate Nike etc so much. Nike produce tops like that all the time and people blow their top at being given a stock design. I think it’s almost just became the done thing to hate the big brands for no reason other than they’re a big brand.

Whereas Nike will happily provide the exact same template in the exact same colour to dozens of clubs over a period of 2 or 3 seasons, with only the sponsor and club crest changed.

In fact, Macron just signed a deal to be the provider for UEFA's Kit Assistance Scheme, creating bespoke kits for minows like San Marino, Faroe Islands etc, whereas Adidas had given 4 of them the exact same kit:

Something for the fans reps to bring to the table at board level. Would be a very good way to engage the support, in particular those who are artistic and in tune with the main support. Surely wouldn’t be that difficult and fans could vote on preferred option (those on the database).

In today’s social media age I’m not sure a ‘reveal’ has any impact on sales anyway. Strips are leaked way before they are officially announced so to me there’s no point.

Let the fans take part in the design, vote and then choose the ‘winner’.

I quite fancied hoops with the tag line ‘first to wear.....if you know you’re history’ just to wind up Celtic !

The kits haven’t even been released yet and a few seem quite disappointed/unhappy. Thing is I can’t quite blame them as the away top seems nowhere near as good as some have made it out to be, we’ve been here before with red logos on Hibs tops and it doesn’t work. I’m willing to give the home top some more time given the lighting quality on that picture but I can’t see much difference. When we first announced our deal with Macron I was concerned and now I’m starting to see why, as one poster above mentioned they’d of saved us and them a lot of stress by simply going with one of the mockups on here that always seem to outclass the eventual kit(s).

Pity, as I really loved last seasons Macron kits and had high hopes for this seasons.

Just wish Hibs would produce templates and offer the fans a few designs in a online poll. We say every season that the fan mock kits are better than what is actually produced so why not tap into those idea's and gain bigger strip sales with the increase in popularity of the kits.

The away one is nearly brilliant, but that red sponsor is never going to work with our green. Might have looked better with black or purple, but not with the green. The white body, dark green sleeves and collar are fantastic though - if it wasn't for that bloody sponsor it would be up there with our best.

I'll probably need to see the home one to make up my mind. Don't like the collar, but it might look a bit better on Kamberi or Allan. I quite like the 2 shades of green idea.

Not the best photo which has probably taken the shine 9ff the launch, if those designs were on the template some of our posters use you'd have people proclaiming it's one of the best they've seen.

Only real complaint for me it the collar on the home top, never been a fan or grandad collars on football tops. If it was a white crew neck it would have improved it massively. Once folk see the official pictures and see it in the flesh I'm sure the opinions will differ for many, if not most.

I'm a fan of the away top, red logo really isn't a huge issue for me.

Seems stupid but the home strip will look 10x better in person and when hibs reveal it with proper lighting and quality of picture. The away one is class and although the red isn’t great it’s not the worst. Huge over reaction, the collars I like! Also we’ve had red on our sponsors logo a good few times before. All in all I think it’s been a massive over reaction and the kits will look better come half 7 and the proper pictures etc. Plus when we qualify for the group stages of the Europa and win the cup they’ll be hot property

Will reserve full judgement for the main release (and when I see it on someone less scrawny than Oli Shaw), but a little disappointed with both. It’s the small details that make a kit and these both miss the mark with those.

Away would have been a classic if it wasn’t for Marathon Bet logo - they’ve been an icon sponsor to us though and maybe I can bregrudingly give them this one. Will be remembered more fondly than Frank Graham Group in the future.

Home top would have been far better if it faded from dark green at the bottom to emerald green at the shoulders. Pattern is quite cool, but the collar is gash. And so is the fit - why are they both kits so damn short?

Nearly all kits are leaked these days.

Mobile phones etc rarely leave anything a complete surprise.

Hibs have done well to keep fans guessing till today.

As for the kits - I am surprised they have tried to bring back Bottle Green when fans voted for the Emerald Green.
