The big guy has been outstanding for us. He was an entertainer as well as a very skillful player and will be a huge loss.

Efe was one of the most if not THE most naturally gifted and talented players at our club. Will be a massive loss to us. All the best big fella grab it with both hands.

Celtic bound ?

Said that the other day. I wouldn’t be surprised, he’d start every week for them.

Ambrose will be good for Hibs and
Hibs will be good for Ambrose.
Could well become a cult hero.
Strong and fast.
Hopefully scoring a few goals from corners.
Some exciting runs out of defence.
Hopefully not many gaffs.
Lennon knows him better than most.
Sounds a good and fun signing.
Looking forward to it.
I believe his Celtic contract is up in the summer so if he signs and does well there is a chance he could become a permanent signing although I suspect he would be looking for English Championship money.

As you can see from the above post from Feb 2017 some folk on hibs.net know what they are talking about.
Other posters not so much .

Interesting in 86 starts only 3 assists. Looks to be all superfluous with a lots of errors. Reduce wage bill and solidify defence. Not a bad trade.

B-b-but when he beats a man? That’s what fitba is aw about is it no?

FWIW I think he’ll be loss but not the catastrophe some would predict. Frees up a wage higher up the pitch hopefully.

None of them were too good for us. They all played for us for a decent length of time. You go ahead and belittle our club if you want, I won’t.

I think the point may be, at the time of them leaving their ability was too good for a club of ours to keep a hold of based on financial packages we can afford to give players.

That’s more or less what he said. The defence is not better without Ambrose which means it is better with him.

Jambos and Facts.

I wouldn't necessarily equate the two, in fact I'd doubt the veracity. Some say they have five fingers on each hand, I'd ask to count them first tbh.

I'm certain Connollys11 is a Hibby. Oh yes, for sure. But what I would say is that if a Jambo decided to post undercover on here, and based his Hibby persona on reading a chapter of an Irvine Welsh novel, then he'd probably come up with Connollys11, judging by his contributions over the last couple of days...

Great signing in the grand scheme of things. We have 3 defenders out and we have signed a player who has had over 50 caps for Nigeria. Ok, he has had a few dodgy games but he is dropping down a level.

I remember reading your opening thread at the time and saying please make this happen.

Pleased to see that it did and that I had the pleasure of watching Efe on a regular basis strolling through games oozing class.
