Didn't care much about the result at Tynie. Was great when Der Hun were in front knowing full well we were in front as well. In a funny sort of way it was good to see Hertz comeback and draw and really rub The Rangers noses in it.

Hearts fan cheering when our FT result came through. Feels weird seeing them cheering a Hibs win. I certainly wouldn't cheer a Hearts win.

Yes you would, if we had lost today!!!!!!!!

Hearts coming back will knock them a bit. Had they won they would be going into the play offs saying we just beat the champions. Now their heads will be down. Blew second spot and now face a mountain to climb!

Being favourites has never done us any favours in the past.

I'm not totally convinced they can beat QotS.

At the end of September 2nd place looked a long way off so well done to Stubbs and co.

Has he woken up yet though? pretty obvious where his loyalties lie but isn't he paid money for expertise and knowledge?- QOS must be delighted at the prospect of another work out against the new boys at Palmerston. Only thing that will save them is the referee.

Well done today Hibs.

they maybe had an offer on for the final, buy a ticket for this game and guarantee a ticket for the final, having said that i'm sure they will have more than enough tickets

Hmmm, I was there and we filled about 40% of the stadium. Falkirk's end looked about half full, although I was in the main stand so happy to be corrected.

Loved the Houston whine on the radio. Should get a job as a jet engine, the whining he was doing.

Not important, we weren't trying, no red cards, no injuries, bigger fish to fry, etc etc.

You got STUFFED!!!!

I thought there was a couple of decent performances. Jason Cummings played well and Boyle was really good in the first half. However, I would agree with you about Liam Craig. He looked a captain today and actually drove the team on. Broke play up loads and kept possession well.

Can't wait for the Houston interview after the game.

Disrespect my ar*e.

They were the luckiest team on Gods earth at Hampden.

GIRFUY !!!!

Hey Houston - Hibs 70 points (2nd). Falkirk 53 points (nowhere). Hibs GD +38. Falkirk GD 0.

You know your team rode their luck big style to get to the cup final.

There's no doubt in my mind that Craig has the talent, it's the ability to step up to the mark when the chips are down that he lacks IMO.

When he doesn't play it's noticable that we've no one to keep the referee right. It's a vital job.

Well done to both Cummings and Malonga. 13 goals in the league for Malonga must be decent considering the amount of games he missed at the start of the season and January? Not sure what his stats are

Have to say, this shows how much hearts have divided out their goals between their players this season since none of their players are in the top 5. Also shows how Alloa would have been dead and buried without Buchanan. Delighted for Cummings though, especially having been thrown into our team last season with Butcher's hoofball where he didn't stand a chance to now being the division's top goalscorer and still improving

Zeefuik's 2 goals today meant he finished as their top scorer on 12 goals and he only came in January. They did have 3 players on 11 goals though (Keatings, Sow and Walker).

Yea and their defenders have scored quite a few in comparison to ours as well. Luckily we've had Malonga and Cummings banging them in though and we've obviously been unlucky with Farid being injured most of the season who would have definitely hit double figures in my opinion

How many 1-0 wins did the Yams record? Maybe that could account for their surprising absence in top 5 scorers list.
Just wondered.

Just watched the recording of the derby, and as the teams were getting shown, the commentator said that Neil Alexander was the only player on the pitch not to have scored a goal this season. Good one for a pub quiz.

Loy has 12 in 34 so 0.35 goals per game

Lyle has 19 in 39 so 0.48 goals per game

Buchanan has 16 in 43 so 0.37 goals per game

Reilly has 14 in 37 so 0.37 goals per game

Boyd has 10 in 40 so 0.25 goals per game (only 3 in the league)

Zeefuik has 12 in 15 so 0.8 goals per game

Sow has 12 in 25 so 0.48 goals per game

Farid has 5 in 12 so 0.41 goals per game

Agreed, any of us could send them down.

Saw the highlights of the Motherwell game and they will be a threat to anyone also. They have a strong and experienced spine in McManus, Hammell, Pearson (who looked good and full of running) and MacDonald plus guys like Ainsworth. Actually think Kilmarnock would be a slightly easier game whoever gets to play them.
