Unless you personally want to go to E Mains and wait for all the players to come out after training and ask them individually, then on you go but if you want to keep up with the silly pedantic posts, crack on.
When a couple of players are saying the same thing to me and they tell me it's a majority of the squad that's unhappy, then I'll believe them, or should I just call them liars and to stop giving me any wee snippets the dare give.
At times I wonder if people like myself and others who have decent contacts within the club, should simply not share anything, then you can all just surmise amongst yourselves, going from one guess to another.

Next time could you point out to the couple of players that Butcher and Malpas' training had ICT regularly running rings round them and got ICT significantly higher league placings than we've been used to over the last few years, so if they wouldn't mind can they stop greeting about it, do what they're told, and try a leg now and again, so that we can all get on with enjoying going to the football again please.

The 2 players who I'm fairly friendly with are 2 that are not unhappy, they just get on with their jobs, saying that they're not overjoyed with certain aspects of the man management of TB and MM, this has became pretty well known this past few weeks and these 2 players are seeing the squad splitting because of this.
KT is a strong character and is well liked among the players, he's still seen as the leader, even though not captain a good few see him as that.
They're not happy with the scatter gun tactics and team selection, there's no cohesion, players don't know if they're coming of going and when they do play decent football on the deck, they're shouted at by MM and told to lump the ball into spaces. Any squad harmony there was has been taken away, training is not enjoyable and neither are games, motivation is something hard to come by at the moment.
Certain players like Stevenson/Hanlon will just get on with things as they are good solid pro's, others like young Harris will shrink into their shells, then you have the stronger players like KT who will speak up for the silent majority, all these things are normal in many walks of life, it's the managements job to know how to deal with all these different characters, not just to swear as loud as possible at them and tell them all they're ****ing useless twats, yep that'll boost morale. :confused:

I've questioned a few things recently about TB, and I rate KT - it doesn't mean those that get picked can't go out and put in a disciplined and professional showing for gods sake.

And for what it's worth I've been close to the dug out twice in recent weeks and not once has MM or TB for that matter 'shouted and bawled' at the players for playing it on the ground.....they want the ball played sharper and quicker. Sadly players like Nelson and McGivern launch it and a few times they have rightly been berated for doing so........i.e not taking care with the pass forward.

There are a few players who should be gone hopefully soon due to their negativity at the club, these players are pretty obvious with the way they play and their manner( out partying after a derby defeat ) KT has always is seems to me given his 100% if and when picked, I think it infuriates him when others are picked ahead of him when so badly out of form and when the tactics aint working, nothing seems to be done to change the tactics. He wants what's best for Hibs and at he moment the best isn't happening.

What annoys a lot of fans is McGivern/Nelson/ etc are all still getting picked even though they've been terrible for a while now.

I said very early into this thread I did not personally hear what MM shouted at me, M59 says he didn't tell me F off, some of the guys I sit beside say he did. And while I've got on friendly terms with some of these guys, none of them are my friends. Even tonight thecat23 posted that MM told me to F off, I have a lot of time for him on this site, but we have never met. So you are way off referring to my "friends."

Refusing to carry out instructions during training shows a bad attitude to management. Telling the management team to **** off during a team meeting in front of the rest of the group shows a bad attitude to management.

Shall we go back further? Allowing a newspaper to print vile stories about your manager shows a bad attitude to management. Telling the world that the thought of pulling on a Hibs strip made you feel physically sick shows a lack of respect for the club, and yes, a bad attitude to management.

There's absolutely no doubt in my mind that Thomson is the source of the supposed current unrest. He'll be emptied in the summer, thankfully.

By all accounts every single one of players (bar Lewis & Paul Hanlon(who's probably away from the team rehabilitating) ) are doe-eyed idiots with no mind of their own getting led by the pied piper of protestors KT because just because he's held in 'high regard.'

There are obviously problems as the information is literally spewing out of the HTC from all angles. We have 19 page thread on it with several individuals reporting these problems and for some kangaroo court to assume that the reason for this is that the players are just being brats with no information on what is going on in there is laughable.

What planet are some people on? All these players have experience from a multitude of different environments and for all of them to collectively reach the conclusion that this pair aren't up to it speaks volumes.

People also seem to link to the fact a totally different group of players complained about a completely different person 7 yrs ago has something to with it :faf:

We have 19 page thread on it with several individuals reporting these problems and for some kangaroo court to assume that the reason for this is that the players are just being brats with no information on what is going on in there is laughable.

What planet are some people on? All these players have experience from a multitude of different environments and for all of them to collectively reach the conclusion that this pair aren't up to it speaks volumes.

People also seem to link to the fact a totally different group of players complained about a completely different person 7 yrs ago has something to with it :faf:

What I do know that it's this pair are responsible and accountable for getting the players to buy into their ideas, gel together on the pitch and get results. I don't think there is any doubt that they have failed spectacularly.

This thread started off as a result of MM swearing (the F word I definitely heard from MM as I sit in between the two people "involved", the C word I did not) at Jeffers during the second half of the recent Monday evening Aberdeen match at ER. Jeffers posed a question that many of us, myself included, were thinking ourselves, namely "why is KT not being introduced to our currently woefully performing midfield" in an effort to win a point or even three, any of which, if won, of which would make a huge difference to Hibs avoiding relegation risks this season.

The management strategy has to be about avoiding relegation right now and any thoughts of "teaching errant players lessons" is for another time IMO!

I should say that I think that it is inexcusable for a senior management member of staff to verbally abuse a paying customer (or fellow employees (players)) and if it happened in any other business, the abuser would be reprimanded formally regarding his wrongful actions. However, we have people on here who have suggested that Jeffers, or any others experiencing similar, should simply "suck it up" or "grow a pair" when this sort of thing happens to them at Hibs as "fitba's a "mans game" and we must realise and accept that and stop acting like 'bed wetters' "!

I have found these sort of comments disturbing and hope that those who have made such comments on this thread or believe this to be appropriate behaviour, neither verbally abuse people in their workplace (customer or fellow worker/manager) or in life generally or tolerate verbal abuse from any other person within their workplace or in life generally. Jeffers asking his question to TB and MM in an indirect kind of way, as many fans do during matches as the emotion of a game takes hold, is not verbal abuse as some, who may not even have been at the match and certainly never heard the verbal comments by Jeffers and MM, have suggested.

In a nutshell, having heard what was said in the central "incident" which started the thread, MM was totally out of order IMO and the club should address this if they haven't done so already by a disciplinary meeting and warning being issued IMO <cat amongst pidgeons smilie please>! It was unacceptable behaviour from a Hibs manager to a paying customer attending a match posing a reasonable question as Jeffers did.

However.............

:top marks Winston Ingram for some balanced thought to what is happening to our team right now with a reasonable guide as to why that may be happening in the absence of any other realistic reason not connected to unconnected events from history relating to KT!

Refusing to carry out instructions during training shows a bad attitude to management. Telling the management team to **** off during a team meeting in front of the rest of the group shows a bad attitude to management.

Shall we go back further? Allowing a newspaper to print vile stories about your manager shows a bad attitude to management. Telling the world that the thought of pulling on a Hibs strip made you feel physically sick shows a lack of respect for the club, and yes, a bad attitude to management.

There's absolutely no doubt in my mind that Thomson is the source of the supposed current unrest. He'll be emptied in the summer, thankfully.

I agree, I don't mind adult discussions at all and it makes this board worth reading. It's the ones who come on and say it's all bull**** or explain yourself and tell us the source. That pisses me off.

I just find some comments tedious and immature if I'm honest. Some folk have good info and share it. I don't think for one second what we say has any effect to what happens on the pitch or has any damage to management. Along with if we post something positive it makes no odds. It's like a discussion in work or the pub.

What folk need to see is something isn't right at Hibs and whether we like it or not or believe it or not huge changes in attitude has to be made from both sides.

The 2 players who I'm fairly friendly with are 2 that are not unhappy, they just get on with their jobs, saying that they're not overjoyed with certain aspects of the man management of TB and MM, this has became pretty well known this past few weeks and these 2 players are seeing the squad splitting because of this.
KT is a strong character and is well liked among the players, he's still seen as the leader, even though not captain a good few see him as that.
They're not happy with the scatter gun tactics and team selection, there's no cohesion, players don't know if they're coming of going and when they do play decent football on the deck, they're shouted at by MM and told to lump the ball into spaces. Any squad harmony there was has been taken away, training is not enjoyable and neither are games, motivation is something hard to come by at the moment.
Certain players like Stevenson/Hanlon will just get on with things as they are good solid pro's, others like young Harris will shrink into their shells, then you have the stronger players like KT who will speak up for the silent majority, all these things are normal in many walks of life, it's the managements job to know how to deal with all these different characters, not just to swear as loud as possible at them and tell them all they're ****ing useless twats, yep that'll boost morale. :confused:

Read jodjam & TornadoHibby (two of the guys) who have posted on this thread. MM did respond after I shouted for Kevin Thomson to be brought on. I've said since day one and specifically for the benefit of bawheid and Danderhall Hibs I could care less what he shouted, but imo when you have taken a mid table team into a relegation battle playing some horrific football in the process you don't start turning on your own fans. ehf and again jodjam have posted on this thread that it's not the first time, you can ask ehf what he said to merit a response, I was not at that game.
