What a difference it is to have a keeper who wins us points instead of dropping them:agree:

I wondered what had happened.

Maybe, but that's now 5 matches unbeaten in the league - 3 wins and draws in the derby and at Celtc Park. It's a long time since Hibs should that sort of consistency. Obviously we're going lose some matches too, but the underlying trend is very encouraging.

Still early days of course but it is fantastic to see the changes we are seeing. A team that is praised for it's off the ball work, commitment from goalkeeper to striker, and consistancy that will prove vital in what is already proving to be a very very tight league.

Keep it up Hibs

No doubt the press will be full of stories telling us how great the league is this year soon. Increased competition and everyone taking points off each other, a refreshing change.

Maybe they meant Motherwell and peterhead when they were going on about one horse races.

We were lucky in some respects but we worked hard and earned the 3 points, last season we would of lost without doubt. Claros was my MoM closely followed by sparky. Had a 5er on sparky first goal 2-1 so am delighted. GGTTH

Good win:thumbsup: Especially with others around us dropping points.

That is also 2 wins at home now and ER is becoming a harder place to come and play.

Some good battling performances and yes we did ride our luck but it's about time that changed.

Ref and his assistants were a joke for both teams.

Also hopefully LG injury isn't too bad as he's flying right now and is a goal machine.

Much improved and we have a basis of a decent team :agree:

We should have closed out the match long before Killie pushed for an equaliser in the last 15-20 minutes. We had enough chances that's for sure.

Have to credit the grit and determination not to concede and we rode our luck on occasions

Small steps but a win is a win

Good end result and although we road our luck at times the commitment and team spirit was obvious for all to see.
Now we have options perhaps PF will change the midfield on occasions as that is the area I can't just put my finger on as to why they aren't better in the last third of the park
Really pleased for all concerned right through from STF, RP ,PF ,staff , players and supporters

Long way to go but things are looking much better than I had expected

Watched those highlights on my phone in NYC. Didn't look like a classic but three points are always welcome. Dodgy keeping for the equaliser but made up for it with great save later. Still think we should be creating more chances at home but confidence will grow with results...

Not got time to read the whole thread, but:

To be honest I just cant understand why we cant put the ball in the net more often. In the second half we squandered 2 or 3 really good chances to go 3 - 1 up. I dont mean missed chances as much as wasting the final ball after good leading up work.

As has happened a few times this season that has resulted in a backs to the wall last quarter of the match. Thankfully we have a team with the guts ( finally ) and workrate to hold out which is great to see.

I really do worry whats going to happen if LG goes back to Wolves in January coz though I like his movement and running Doyle isnt a natural goalscorer ... I would like to see Caldwell get more than 10 minutes at the end to give him a chance to get a goal because he might end up being LGs replacement. Which brings me back to trying to get a couple of goals in front in games so that PF will feel more confident about bringing him on.

Still happy with how things are going though ..... way above expectations TBH .......

Would like to see more wing passes, maybury had a few chances to fire the ball down the wing for Doyle and griffiths and he just wasn't sharp enough to make the quick pass.

Good show from Hanlon, working with big James has done him the world of good, just hope McPake doesn't get Injured and he cannot cope.

Doyle was really unlucky, seemed to closed down more feircly than Leigh, no doubt a tactic from Sheils to prevent Leigh getting the ball, not that that stopped us :-)

Atmosphere for the last 15 was quality, the players should of felt that, knowing we are all right behind them.

Enjoyed my first hibs home game is donkeys years, onwards and upwards!
