Fellow hibee and journalists Kenny Millar has got himself a job at the SFA as the media and communications officer.
Safe to say he will be wished all the best by us Hibees. Kenny is one of few journalists that we actually trust when it came to inside info on transfers, sure he won’t miss the constant tweets during transfer windows but he always took time to reply to hibs fans on transfers.
All the best Kenny and Good luck.

Sounds like a good opportunity for him. Bit disappointed he'll no longer be able to give us inside info on players Hibs are after, though.

So does this mean he won't be able to keep us up to date on Hibs rumours any more?
Or do we reckon he'll still do a bit of that on his twitter?

Hibby he may well be, but my impression was that the SFA was a pathetic organisation full of inept, Weegie/Old Firm yes men. Tell me he's going to cleanse it from within.

But who will give us legitimate updates on Hibs during the transfer window now?
Good luck to him though, he's certainly going to an organisation that needs his skills!

He is also a member on here, although doesn't post much. I always found him to be pretty accurate with his info, so he will be sorely missed as a journalist.
As well as Hibs stuff he was always deeply involved in publicising the lower age group Scotland teams - something very few others did.
Its probably a good career move for him. Wonder if he will attend more matches at Easter Road as a result?
His brother still works for Hibs, I assume?

Kenny Millar doesn't work for the Sun anymore - "yay i can like him now"
He now works for the SFA - "never mind"
next step on the Hibee-FA infiltration program is getting Petrie into the top job

As many others have said, I'll miss his dependable insights into hibs
By far the most reliable journalist
But don't worry, the SFA will sack him as soon as they find out he doesn't support a Glasgow based tea

Comes across as one of us. Anytime I've asked him a question on twitter he's given me a response and seems to take the time to respond to any hibs fans questions (he gets about 100 a day so I'm sure he'll appreciate the break from that)
The coverage at all levels of Scottish football whether it's via marketing or otherwise is non existent so hopefully he can come in with a few ideas to shake things up.
Best of luck in your new role Kenny, I'm sure you'll need it working with Regan and Co

I remember when he used to post on here when he was a kid. Good luck to him. It sounds like a similar role to the one his brother has at Hibs.

A shame for us on the transfer goss front but good luck to him.
(He's going to need a ton of luck trying to do PR for Regan & co.)

This is a crying shame, when a confirmed Hibbee will be made to toe the Old Firm for ever label in order to keep his job!!!!
This is typical, get in someone and try and turn them, if unsuccessful, sack them!!!!!
