Manchester City 1-2 Bayern Munich
Schalke 0-3 Chelsea
Apoel Nicosia 0-2 Barcelona
Lionel Messi becomes the Champions League's all-time leading goalscorer after scoring tonight in Cyprus. Luis Suarez also got his first Barcelona goal. Chelsea have all but secured their place in the last 16 and Manchester City are on the brink of an early exit after Bayern Munich have come from behind to lead at half time, despite being down to 10 men.

I've been struggling to understand how there's no difference between a win and a draw for the last hour and it turns out he's talking mince. A draw for CSKA would've put them through if Man City beat Roma.
Edit: The most embarrassing bit being when he said 'the maths really aren't that difficult'...naw Andy, they're no.

The arrogance of Bayern Munich was quite staggering at times tonight, for that alone they deserve the egg on their face.

Not sure about betting allegations, will leave that alone. Let's agree, though, that Guardiola is a fabulous coach but sometimes a little too clever for his own good... Giving Schweinsteiger a run out made sense but bringing on Shaqiri was a bit cocky. A stronger player would have helped shore things up for them.

Also find Guardiola's style boring to watch, a lot of possession but rarely a meaningful, exciting attack. I'd much rather watch two teams go end to end, personally.
