Now that all the places have been taken up I Thought it would be better to start a new thread with this.
The Draft: The draft will be an offline draft made on this thread and i will input the players into the appropriate teams once the draft is complete. I think the draft will be the most...
Anderson 7-3 up v Lewis in their 1/4 final. First to 16 legs.
Fury has now pulled out against his new opponent due to his Uncle being seriously ill.

With the Commonwealth Games coming to Glasgow, it reminded me of a rumour I heard that Sir Hoy is of the Yammish persuasion, is this true? Still a great representative for Scotland either way of course.
rounded off with a truly embarrassing Ronnie Corbett. you truly ARE a Twat son.
give it up.
The third major tournament of the year is upon us and a very talented field is set to take on the challenge of Hoylake near Liverpool.
As ever, golf betting is notoriously difficult with so many fancied golfers in the field.
My hot tips for this year are:-
Paul Casey (65/1) He's gradually...
Any cycling fans / cyclists on .net? I was a bit sceptical of the tour starting in Yorkshire this year but have to say the two opening stages have really delivered.
Getting in first this time! :greengrin
The draw is made tomorrow for this year's Wimbledon and Andy Murray comes into the tournament as the defending champion.
The only other time he's started a Grand Slam as the defending champion was the US Open last year where he lost to Stanislas Wawrinka...
Did anyone else watch last night's fight? I'm by no means an expert on the intricacies of the methods that judges use to award points for each round but from what I saw last night there's absolutely no way the verdict should have ended up as a split decision.
Burns was totally outclassed from...
The main warm up event for Wimbledon started today and although Andy Murray doesn't start until Wednesday thanks to his bye through to the second round, there was some British interest today.
Dan Evans and James Ward both got through to round two with Evans in particular having a very impressive...
Just wondering if anyone goes along to watch the wolves?
planning on going to my first game today, not expecting much but need some Football to keep me going till the season starts.
Wembley I see.
Could get close to 100,000 folk?
Early days, with only Dubuisson looking a certain qualifier. It will be interesting to see how the team changes during the season. Would also be good to see at least on Scot in the team.
The current 9 in the automatic positions are:
Sorry Trig, beat you to it this year but since the name change .............
Not a bad draw for Murray up to the quarters then it changes completely. Wawrinka, Federer, Nadal follow if seeds go to plan.
I've never followed this previously and I'm aware there's been a lot of controversy during the off-season (move to hybrids, rule changes etc) but I'm captivated by F1 this year!
The Bahrain GP today was absolutely sensational - the racing between Rosberg and Hamilton for first place today was...
Just caught the tail end of a 5live show reliving the great West Indies team of 1984 and the black wash of England. Hard to believe that it was 30 years ago!
Watching that series back in that summer on BBC was what gave me the cricketing bug. World class players at their peak and it truly was...
Only had one bet today, what a performance by Taghrooda, could be named the winner about three furlongs out. Well done to the Hills family! :agree:
Should be plenty more Group 1s where that came from.
Having been to watch it in the past, sad news: http://m.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-27651504
It is believed two people have been killed in an incident at a motor racing event in the Scottish Borders.
Unconfirmed reports have said a vehicle taking part in the Jim Clark Rally struck spectators,...
Really sad news about the snooker player Ali Carter being diagnosed with lung cancer, less than a year after beating testicular cancer.
Getting cancer once in your lifetime must be a truly awful experience but to get it twice in less than 12 months must be unimaginable.
All the best to him.
Starts on 6th February and surprisingly Gary Anderson has been given a wildcard.
Wade has been dropped \ rested \ taken out the limelight for this one.
Full list of players can be found here:...
Some set of tennis by Murray there. 6-1 in the first set v Rafa.
Anyone else on here follow the NHL as closely as I do? If anyone does, what team do you's support/follow :)
So the opening day has come and gone (I didn't bother starting this during Spring Training and the WBC as I've otherwise been busy) the past 2 days and the Summer sport is underway (if only the weather would now join it - looked positively freezing, particularly in Minnesota last night!). Houston...
Looks like we might get some play soon.
Anyone else been watching this?
It's been a really good match so far between Ronnie O'Sullivan and Mark Selby.
O'Sullivan went 10-5 ahead yesterday but Selby came back at him by winning six frames in a row to lead 11-10 earlier this afternoon.
It's currently 12-12 with potentially 11...
I was really sorry to hear this news yesterday.
She has had a lot of illness throughout her tennis career, mostly to do with her liver and I can only imagine what she may have been able to achieve if she had been completely healthy.
I wish her all the best in her battle to beat this illness.
Is it just me or are most rugby players Yams? I've never really needed much of an excuse to hate rugby, but I'm sure John Jeffries was one, and that fat guy on Sportsound, Peter something-or-other. Maybe it's just another excuse for me not to listen to Sportsound. Murrayfield seems to be a...
Opening day at Currie BC yesterday, glorious weather, green in great nick, beer flowing. Long may it continue.
Not fished for 20 odd years, any decent coarse fishing in or close to Edinburgh?
Who's everyone going for then?
Jason Day/ McIlroy/ Dustin Johnson for me, although Johnson currently making a mess in Texas!
Also gutted that Tiger isn't playing to be honest.
Britain play their first Davis Cup quarter final this weekend against Italy.
With Fabio Fognini and Andreas Seppi both playing singles for Italy, it's going to be a tough one for GB to win, especially with it being on clay.
The weather in Naples is terrible just now so the start of the tie...

Spotted this the other day - pretty impressive.
3 weeks to go and movement in my loins already at the thought of it.
Anyone play in a Darts league here? I'm not talking about an inter pub league where you travel to other boozers and play matches. I'm talking more about a league just amongst guys in your own pub/club?
If so, how do you run it? How many legs do you play in one match? how many games...
One for the historians.
I'm not sure if this has ever happened before, if it has then it must be a rarity.
Both semi finals that were due to be played tonight were cancelled as both Kei Nishikori (who was due to play Novak Djokovic) and Tomas Berdych (who was due to play Rafael Nadal) pulled...
Anyone know where I can get Hibs head covers for my golf clubs? Would specifically like one for my putter but others welcome, or anywhere I can get one custom made? Thanks!
