    Stadium volunteering opportunity

A number of supporters have asked if they can help the club around the stadium. It’s a great idea and much appreciated.

There is a potential opportunity to help volunteer at Easter Road most of this Wednesday coming, 22nd September. If you are available drop me PM here or to kpower@hibernianfc.co.uk and I’ll keep you in the loop.

I’m working on a plan to find a weekend date in the immediate future, drawing up a plan with the club operations and maintenance team on a list of things that would be great to get done - really important there is a structured plan so any supporter time being generously offered is valued and utilised.

Unfortunately can’t do Wednesday KP, but keep me in mind for the weekend work, if it fits in with my commitments
Me and 2 lads put the stickers on the seats in East and West just after LD joined

PM sent. I hope there is a good uptake for this initiative. Good opportunity to make a big difference for little input by a number of people for those who have the time

Just a quick note to confirm the volunteering around the stadium is going ahead on Wednesday this week, 22nd. I’ll be at the stadium from 9am - supporters can come and go whenever with whatever they can commit throughout the day if they’re keen. Just drop me a message or email for more details ✅

Absolutely will do Billy. I know midweek isn’t ideal, this is more seizing an opportunity to do something before the St.Johnstone game.

I’ll still plan to create a weekend opportunity when there is no Hibs fixture.

Good question. No specific skillset required for this session - club maintenance team have a list of things to be done on the day that most can do and will have equipment lined up. 🧤 Gloves might be wise.

Great idea would be good to be an ongoing thing once a month or so, will definitely get involved for the weekend session.

What time does it end Kieran. Can't do the morning but could possibly do a few hours in the afternoon. Well done for organising though. Lots of supporters would love to put something into the club and this is a great initiative.

Late afternoon is the current expectation - I’ll have a better idea tomorrow. Popping down before work and I’ll fire you a message ✅

Thanks for quick reply. Sounds good. Well done for getting this going - maybe a good idea to do every so often so get a mixture of folk along but will definitely build a sense of togetherness and community.

Absolutely, the interest to help is great.

I’ll see what can be done in longer timeline view, with a structured plan in place. Wednesday was a half chance worth taking. I’ll be sure to feedback ✅

Well done. Are you now an expert in removing plastic seats?

This supporter and club collaboration project wouldn’t have been a successful start without you.

Tremendous work started on exteriors too

More opportunities to come. I’ll promote others more in advance where I can. Keen to find different options as I know supporters are keen to help any time - always appreciated.

If I can help with anything, at any time, just drop me a message here or kpower@hibernianfc.co.uk

    Excellent stuff.

Great to see the club engaging with the fans via the fans reps in such a productive way. That’s what it should all be about.

Also positive to see a bit of imagination going in to spruce up the stadium. Again many fans have been asking for this sort of thing for a very long time and It’s great to see our new owner and CEO looking to get things finally moving on this front.

    Well done
