When I was discussing our group with a mate before the tournament, he made the point that Croatia's recent form has been very patchy indeed - pretty sure it was something like them only having won 4 of their past 12 games, 2 of which were against Malta and Cyprus. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. It's not really World Cup finalists form.
England are normally pretty solid at home, I'm expecting them to do pretty well tbh.

Best result for us today I think is a big win for England. Goal difference could easily come into it both in the group, and across the groups for the 4 best 3rd places. Italy and Belgium have helped us out so far

Croatia win would be better. Don’t want England resting players against the czechs but want Croatia to rest against us.
Plus it’s England so naturally want them humiliated.

England team
Pickford
Walker Stones Mings Trippier
Sterling Philips Rice Foden
Mount
Kane
Wonder why they are playing a right back, at left back

Think Southgate was out last night.
2 best leftbacks in the premier league last season and he picks a right back over both of them?
No Chilwell or Sancho in the squad at all. 2 defensive midfielders? Sterling over Grealish?
Yikes. He might be a genius but he'll get slaughtered for this if it goes wrong.

It’s very weird. Suppose it explains why Southgate wanted so many right backs in his squad.

My friend heads up Weetabix, he’s at the game as they sponsor the ENT
He’s in nice and early, pitch looks amazing

The great thing about the build up to England games is that they have to play all the losses and disappointment.

Heartening to hear the booing of taking the knee quickly replaced by what sounded like more people applauding.

Terrible refereeing stopping the game there.

Unlucky from Foden. England are going to be so dangerous breaking against anyone in the group.

I honestly think the only way to beat England is to take the game to them. They have so much attacking threat if you sit back they are going to break you down.
That's why I can't see Scotland getting anything against them. We don't have the players to dictate the game and take it too them.
France and Belgium do have that ability and will likely beat England if they play them IMO.
