That’s me out of lunches so ordered a Costa bag for tomorrow.
Two cheese and ham toasties and a big bag full of Bakewell tarts.
    Will take that for £3!

Just got a belter from my local Dobbies (basically Sainsbury’s). Taste the difference king prawns, a premium brand of mozzarella and prosciutto tortellini, taste the difference potato salad, puff pastry, fair trade bananas, pak choi, Hovis super seed bread, root ginger, New York Bagel Company raisin and cinnamon bagels.

    £16 of stock for £3.99

See with the Greggs stuff...how do you know what you’re getting? Do you have to bite into them?

I've only done it twice, but I've always had a handwritten inventory in the bag.

Curious to know if they do this with healthy food as well is it just the stuff to give us all diabetes? For the record I'm no adverse to eating crap, not going to help folk on a reduced income though by gorging on pasties.

I've seen costa coffee available a few times but haven't got round to actually buying one. They might be a little healthier than greggs?

Morrisons are on there - their picture is of fruit and veg but presumably could be anything they give you.

There's a place called fruit connection that's available right now that sounds like it would just be fruit and veg (although they also have a disclaimer telling you not to worry if your cheese is discoloured and to eat it anyway )

Download the app, there are some local healthy shops there and once bars, restaurants and hotels re-open there will be much more choice, both healthy and otherwise.

Another Greggs from South Gyle Crescent.
    4 sausage rolls.
    Chicken bake.
    Sausage/bean/cheese melt.
    4 Jan Donuts.
    Belgian bun.

I understand where you're coming from Wembley67, there is a lot of high fat/high sugar going on in these Greggs Magic bags, but so far I've only done one a week and broken the bag down over 4 days between me and my daughter (wife is on a perpetual diet).
The baguettes I got last time lasted a good few days,,,,I reckon the best before dates are arbitrary.

Same here, there are 5 of us in the house so by the time everyone's had something it's not much more than a snack (unless it's from the monster bag from the weekend).

The M&S and Dobbies ones are an alternative to Greggs and there are a couple of grocery shops that offer up fruit and veg in the bags as well, I think.

It should also be remembered that the main idea isn't to feed folk that are short of cash , but to avoid waste, although if it helps people in need then all the better.
