The way the the's went ape when Porto was sent off, crowding the ref to get him sent off is the way teams go now, we are just late at joining in with this bollox.

Pressure the ref into making a rash decision, huns been doing it for years, we should do the same against them.
Ryan would be best concentrating on his game and leaving that stuff to someone else if that's the way we want to go.
A full Easter Road towards the Famous Five end would be a better venue for it as well.

At first with Ryan and Jack's reaction I thought he had taken a sore one but from the reply it wasn't that bad.

I only remember two Hibs yellow cards (Hanlon and Newell) and both were impossible to argue against.
I recall a Rangers player getting booked and it again being a straight forward decision.
Other than that the players of both sides were just getting on with playing.
Largely agree although there was a pretty nasty kick on the shins for Martin Boyle fairly early doors that I thought warranted a yellow. Couldn’t argue about either of those early yellows for us and have to say that at 3 mins in I couldn’t see us being allowed to finish the game with 11 men.

As it turned out it felt like we were playing with 12.

Nothing in it but he didn’t half upset the orcs, their match thread is funny as, you would think he stole the Queens handbag with their reactions. They really hate Porto and us, makes me feel good though💚
Rangers fans have a bit of a conundrum for the final. Who will they hate the most? Their hatred for Celtic is a written formality but I think their hatred for us is more current and inflammatory.

Nah they'll hold their nose and want Celtic to lose much more than they'll want us to lose.

Or they wont want Celtic winning another trophy taking them to within 3 of Rangers total (112 v115 and yes, I know we all laugh at the Servco stuff)

And we are joint 5th on 10 trophies with Queen's Park who haven't won anything in a very long time!

i didn't think of adding the two

now THIS is where we should then start taking into account our two dryburgh cup wins, a summer cup win, 49 East of Scotland shield wins(record), 1x Tennents sixes win, 1 x Glasgow Merchants Charity Cup win, and a few more

Not seen this on any of the highlights yet,

at the time Porto was going absolutely raging at the linesman.

Has anyone had a clear view of what happened yet? maybe on hibs TV?

Should there have been a red?
Should have been a yellow, not red, because AM definitely and deliberately left a trailing hand against RP's face. AM's reaction immediately after the incident was one of utter guilt (and of an ugly fat twisted face)

I think that’s a bit contradictory mate. If he definitely left his hand to make contact with the face then it’s a red?

FWIW I think the ref got it correct, along with the vast majority of decisions in the game.
