I thought this was a difficult time of year to get signings in?
It looks like you can get players in at this stage if you offer them what they're looking for and have a manager who sells the club to the player.
I'm delighted with the early transfer business we are doing.

Seems a likeable fella who's looking for a new challenge.
For every punter giving him a bit jip on twitter there also a fair amount of folk that are sad too see him him leave. If he was as bad or as average as some of them are making out then you'd think they'd be universally happy at his departure.

Always better to get players in early, although I've no idea how good Newell is. So I'm currently whelmed, with an edit in October to reveal whether that whelm is over- or under-.
