Is Wright out of contract now? Was his deal only until the end of the season?

I thought Killie came into these play offs in relatively decent form.
I’m Not sure to be honest.

I thought Dundee’s best chance was to get Ross County but Killie have been absolutely hopeless first leg and even worse first half tonight.

Malky MacKay getting the Ross County job.

Brave appointment, everyone deserves a second chance IMO.

I often see him in the Ferry Road Morrisons. Milk sales in Dingwall are about to go through the roof. I’ve never seen so much variety of milk types as well as quantity in one person’s trolley. It shouldn’t be a surprise, though, that he likes the white stuff

Without knowing any details of project brave, seems to me like there’s been an increase in the number of really good Scottish youngsters breaking through in the last few years. There’s also been quite a few joining some of the top clubs in Europe with a couple at Bayern I think?

If not directly associated with project brave, could any of this improvement be associated to the job he’s done? I’m sure project brave wasn’t his only responsibility during his time at the SFA?

    Genuine question

The performance schools were around before him. They were the idea of Mark Wotte, based on the recommendations from the Mcleish report back in 2010. There is no doubt that giving kids an extra 9 hrs of football a week will improve them, and we are seeing that more in the last few years. Brave was much more about reorganising pro youth football across scotland and imo its been the biggest white elephant from the SFA yet! Project Brave has realised the square root of nowt, so much so that they have just announced yet another report which also appears to propose absolutely nothing of substance. He's done nothing since Cardiff.

    Cheers.

I remember Mark Wotte getting slated as being clueless as well.

Ross County being absolutely slated for appointing Malky Mackay.

Just me that think that’s harsh? He’s served his time and everyone deserves a second chance IMO.

Of course he should ...he’s done his punishment , and lost six years of management , a significant learning event for him ...none of us are perfect ..he is absolutely right to be considered for any role ...

    Yes, I think so too.

He’s said stupid things to people he thought he could trust. I’m sure he’s learned his lesson and more. I’d say good luck to him but I hope they go down so not sure I’d mean it 😉

If you're not foaming at the mouth about Declan Gallagher playing for Scotland, but upset about Malky McKay managing Ross County, that moral line in the sand you're drawing is a zigzag.

I agree. I'd imagine the majority of people have come out with stuff that would embarrass or even shame them if made public.

In saying that, I'm glad it's not Hibs.

A lot of their own fans against it. I dont think you stand behind the Show Racism the Red Card events and then have Malky walking on the pitch with the team. He got caught. Its not like it was one comment.

I suspect , considering the education and anti racism work he has done in atonement to his horrible texts, MacKay is probably more aware and understanding of racism than many of us ..he’s probably better prepared to explore and support anti racism now than many are

Controversial but I actually think Malky Mackay could be a decent appointment for RC.

I think it’s easy to say that looking in from the outside, I don’t think we would be saying the same thing if was to be appointed Hibs manager.

Or he’s went to all the courses and the like he had no choice but to attend in order to make himself hireable again.

None of us know. Is he a ‘changed man’ or is he still the same ***** when he was caught out?

Regardless I wouldn’t want him near the Hibs job.
