Maybe, as I said I don't know if that is the most recent.

I managed to dig out that one because I remembered meeting a Hearts acquaintance on the bus home, both of us coming from games. Knowing it must have been around 2001 or 2002, it was only then a 15 or 20 minute scroll through old results…

The last time we played at home on the same day was Saturday 7th May 2016. We played Raith at home in the play off, they played Motherwell. 12.30pm and 3pm kick offs.

The last time we both played the same day and the same time at home was Saturday 12th January 2008. We beat Inverness 3-0 in the Scottish Cup and they drew 2-2 with Motherwell. 3pm kick off.

It used to be a lot more common years ago. I remember it happening a few times in Hearts' yo-yo years of the late 70's/early 80's

I think there was a Saturday during 98/99 that we were both at home. Hearts were playing Dunfermline and the news went round that the Pars were winning. This put Hearts bottom of the SPL and there was a suitable outpouring of sympathy from us all.

I remember finding an old pink news from the
late fifties in my uncles toolbox. Hibs and Hearts were both at home playing Scottish Cup ties and Scotland were playing a six nations game at Murrayfield. The total attendances were in the region of 150000. Hibs were playing Aberdeen ,Hearts were playing Rangers and Scotland were playing Wales 2 Feb 1957. Police would have kittens nowadays

Used to happen occasionally in the 60s and 70s with cup ties - never any problem

Be interesting to compare attendances today.
Sadly we won't come out of the comparison to well.

No it won't. Couldn't care less how many they get.

Me too. But I won't be comparing it with anywhere else.
