A hideous song, that should make any descent person cringe!
Imagine someone singing that about your loved one,it's ****ing disgusting.

Sounds like it's been a long hard battle for
Ron already and its not done yet.
As someone who has a milder inoperable cancer I've spent the past two years volunteering for a cancer charity. I've met so many patients much worse off than myself.
The physical battle is hard enough but the biggest challenge is the uncertainty.
Will surgery work? Will chemo work? Another round, can the body take it?
All we can do is send Ron, Ian and their family the most positive of messages and for those who have a faith, let us pray 🙏Last edited by RIP; 03-02-2023 at 09:28 PM.

Awful thing to deal with - my brother and mother died of it within weeks of each other a few years back. Wish him all the best and hopefully a quick recovery.

Like most I guess, I’ve lost loved ones to cancer and it’s a long and painful road which I hope Ron wins the battle.
Thoughts with you and your family, Ron 💜This is how it feels

Can only echo the other sentiments on this thread. We need the rest of the board and the CEO to really step up now.

We can all cristicise the owner of the club we support if it's not performing how we would like, it's part of football and it's on page one chapter one of 'the perils of buying a football club' ... it doesn't make you a bad person to do it and it doesn't need an apology.
But that isn't real life ..... THIS is real life ... Above all Ron is a human being, and from what I can see a decent human being, he is also one of our own and no matter our opinion on where the club is just now all we can and should do is wish him all the very best and pass on our good wishes to his family.
So all the best Mr Gordon for a full and speedy recovery, hope to see you back at Easter Road soon.

Nobody would have been saying anything of the sort if they'd known, and everybody wishes him well, as can be seen on this thread.
Apart from you. You're first thought is to have a dig at Hibs fans. Nice. What a thread to do it on.
Are you suggesting nobody can criticise anybody in future in case they're ill? That's an utterly ridiculous position to take. Knobish really.
Get well soon Ron.Last edited by WhileTheChief..; 04-02-2023 at 08:02 AM.

All the best to Ron
Contrary to popular belief he does care about the club. As do the rest of the board
A chant of There’s Only One Ron Gordon at the game today would be a nice touch
