Hopefully the stickybuns are still holding onto their unbeaten league campaign going into the game against the Sheep, that is the game I fear which will determine if we fall over or fall short of finishing 3rd as after watching yesterdays performance I struggle to see
us doing much against the plastics or sheep, then again at least 1 of those is away from home !

Except the last time we played them, when we won 2-0

One of our best performances of the season ,and it will take a similiar performance like that to take something from dons game But we can’t afford more injuries should we get to the final so yesterday was the game to win especially given they had made 7 changes

I can’t see Aberdeen being good enough to get a point at Ibrox.

    Same to be honest.

So providing we avoid two pumping over the next few games third will be ours.

I think we will have a tinge of regret only securing third on goal difference. Obviously we’d take it!

We’ve been saying this for weeks now - they’ve taken 7 from 9 post split.

Rangers have won 18 out of 18 conceding 4 goals. Aberdeen lost 3-0 to Dundee Utd last week.

How many times have they played Rangers post split this season?

Aberdeen won 2-1 yesterday in the league at a tough venue

I'm confident we'll beat Aberdeen tbh.

We beat Livi by the same scoreline at arguably a tougher venue for us this season.. Easter road 😂

They’ve not much left to play for though - I can see Aberdeen getting a point.

Not played them yet mate - last game of the season when Rangers are already on the beach.

For weeks I`ve been reading here that we were guaranteed third because Aberdeen would get nothing against Rangers and Celtic . Every year there are funny results at the end of the season with teams playing for very little dropping ponts to supposedly weaker teams who need the points ( Ross County at Tannadice for example ) . If we get to the last day hoping Rangers beat Aberdeen we`ll be struggling . I spent most of today`s game looking to see if Livi could get a point or more given that we never looked like scoring . If we draw at Pittodrie we should get third but if we lose even by one goal , it could be a difficult last day . If we`re in cup final , people will say it doesn`t matter but if we finish 4th and don`t win cup , this season will not be considered a success by many .

If we draw at Pittodrie we will get third. Unless there's a 10-goal swing of course. Even if we were to get pumped 5-0 by Celtc, which is possible I suppose but incredibly unlikely, the Dons would still have to win by five clear goals at Greyskull. Anyone fancy a slice of that action? No, thought not .
    At Easter Road They Play.....

Can’t see this Rangers side downing tools on the day they get the trophy. Comfortable 3-0 win.

If we draw at pittodrie goal difference doesn’t come into it.

If we lose we need to keep the score down.

They’re going for an unbeaten season so I hope you’re right but trophy day has a history of losses I think.

The difference is three points. If we draw against Aberdeen, it goes down to the last game and goal difference could come into it.

Yeah but 10 goals is a fairly unrealistic swing. Mathematically possible but would be massive odds at the bookies.

Agreed its highly unlikely, but it could be decided on goal difference.

I agree they will want to remain unbeaten but a few rangers fans feel they have downed tools since they win the league and haven’t been so convincing
So wouldn’t rule It out completely

    Certainly weren't convincing today

Our problem will be the disappointment if we fail in both. Neither is guaranteed so set our standards high and meet them. I'll take what that gets us.

Sod that. After such a good season we deserve to finish best of the rest. It’s only four games and we should aim for both.

What made yesterday so annoying was that a draw would have meant Aberdeen had to win both their games. Now a win and a draw would be enough if we take nothing from Celtic.

You were doing so well until this bit. No chance this current Celtic team will beat Hibs.
