Is it anywhere near as bad as over here in Forth Valley? If so, can see the game being postponed.

Big question is now the pitch is ..although for me with the wind predico at being 50 mph it's mental playing it ...postpone it now and play it tomorrow when forecast is for 20mph winds ..it makes sense but won't suit many fans I expect or sport science pre match planning ..

I’m 5 minutes walk from the ground and it looks fine here (although I’ve not been outside yet)
Can’t see the game being in any doubt at all.

The wind was absolutely mental across the water in Fife last night. Seems to have died down now.

It's absolutely belting down in West Lothian but then it has been for weeks. Hopefully it's on.

Sky’s just went black in Greenbank.
Expecting torrential downpour any minute.

I think it will be on although if the wind is anywhere near as bad at the game, as it is through here, then it's going to be a bit of a lottery.

I was up most of the night cause it sounded like my roof was going to blow off. The rain was relentless and it’s now on again and the winds up again. The pitch even with good drainage must be close to being waterlogged. There won’t be any pretty football today, just another BSC type struggle.
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

Luckily we've only played at ER twice this month so pitch should be better than a lot of others

Forecast to dry up by 1pm. Winds to drop to 20mph by kick off. Looks on.

Blue skies and sunshine, torrential rain, snow, and back to blue skies and sunshine now.
The only consistent element has been the wind.Mon the Hibs.

Very windy...
Not going to be pretty today. Wrap up would be my advice as weather is changing all the time.

I find it strange that the level of wind isn't taken into account as to whether or not they're going to cancel the game. Surely that can have just as severe an effect on the match as a wet pitch.
It's currently blowing a gale here in Glasgow and I can't see it being any better in Edinburgh.

I live right next to the stadium and it's blowing a gale with frequent downpours and small blizzards
I think the game will go ahead with it mainly being the wind that's the biggest problem but the wind always seems to get overlooked when postponing games

All this talk of bad weather made me think of the Scottish Cup ties that was postponed the most.
https://www.theguardian.com/football/2006/mar/22/theknowledge.sport
Key facts are:
- Back in the icy winter of 1979, the Scottish Cup second-round clash between Inverness Thistle and Falkirk had to be postponed no fewer than 29 times.
- While in 1963 one FA Cup third-round tie between Coventry and Lincoln eventually took place at the 16th time of asking, the clash between Airdrie and Stranraer was busy setting a British record of 33 postponements.

Wasn't there a horrendous fixture pile up at the end of that season? It really was a horrible winter.

Club have said the game is on and no plans for pitch inspection . It would take a big weather change ie constint heavy rain for that to change
