I can see Pakistan winning the whole thing.

Pretty impressive finish. I’m not sure Afghanistan have enough in their seam bowlers to get through, unfortunately Scotland never got a chance to face them…! A bit worried about what Pakistan will do to Scotland too.
You’re right they’re just a bit short when it comes to seem bowling. Hopefully Pakistan play their reserves against us.

    United we stand here....

Some Indian reaction to their loss to Pakistan.
I was at the ICC trophy final at the Oval between India and Pakistan a few years back and it was one of the most amazing atmosphere I have experienced at any sporting occasion. They really don’t like each other. Made rival football fans seem almost civil.

Pakistan are perhaps the most exciting team to watch in every format. On their day extremely talented and can beat anyone, however they do have numerous off days, you just never know what you're going to get with Pakistan.

As in football world cups the early matches mean little other than qualification to the next stage (semis in this case I think). Despite the earlier result still fully expect India to win this.

You’re so right about Pakistan, I love watching them but they will occasionally throw in a stinker. I’m not so sure about India winning it. I want India to win but I’m not sure they have enough in the bowling attack at T20 level, Pakistan brushed them aside with ease.

A full tilt England would have a good chance (several key players missing) and still do look useful. Pakistan will look brilliant then crash out out all for 70 thats the way they play. After England I'd love to see them win it, such a massive lift to their entire country to if they did. Im sticking with India.

England have got a great chance, they need to trust spin more than they do, even bad spin takes wickets in T20. Batting wise England are untouchable.

India on the brink of an early exit after that defeat, they need other results to go their way now. To not get out of the group won’t go down well in India.

England look ridiculously strong in all aspects of the game. They are cruising through the tournament at the minute.

Their fielding was outstanding apart from one dropped catch by Woakes. Buttler having some tournament with the bat too.

Scotland chasing 173 to beat NZ. Off to a decent start in the first over or so

It’s a very good start, although I would expect scoreboard pressure to tell in the end. It’s a decent performance so far which should go some way to repairing the damage to their reputation from last week.

Scotland v India this afternoon, India won the toss and are bowling. Little bit worried about this one but would love a win!

This hasn’t gone well. Leasky is going to have to bat really well again here to have any chance.

Last Scotland game today, v Pakistan. Pakistan won the toss and chose to bat, looking at the game like an opportunity to practice defending a total. Probably means the game is more likely to go long too.

Time for Pakistan's unbeaten run in the tournament to end.

It would be amusing given the attitude coming from the commentators.

It’s a good start, 35-0 off the powerplay but no wickets…

As I type, Tahir gets rizwan caught behind.

The run rate is quite tight, but the lack of wickets is a big worry.

Yeah, they’re going for it now. Just read they are the fastest scorers in the last 5 in the tournament…

Malik got 54 from 18 deliveries, that’s phenomenal batting.

The Pakistan batting was a joy to watch at the end there. Wonderful stuff.

Are we looking at roughly 20 runs per over now?
