    Irn Bru Cup

Hibs colts in action v Elgin City on Tuesday night, 7.45pm ko at Ainslie Park.
Lots of excellent players on show like, Porteous, Fraz Murray, Oli Shaw, Mackie, Stirling etc
2 over age players allowed as well in Hibs team

As Hibs are on the up, would be great if we could get a decent size crowd along, to show support for the young lads
    See you there

Wonder if Fonts and Big Davy might play then to get them some game time and help the youngsters along?

That seems a bit steep, have Elgin got a say in how much we have to charge?

    United we stand here....

Will those young boys be playing for our development team or their current loan clubs in this competition?

  17. #16
Are the rest of our home development games being played at Oriam again?

If they are playing for the loan clubs we wouldn't have enough to field a team!

I believe so but Hibs haven't confirmed it yet!

A nice wee victory tomorrow, and we could get a nice wee trip to either N.Ireland, Wales, or Republic or Ireland😄
2 teams from each of these areas, enter at the next round

Wee trip to play Linfield would be well received now 😝

The website suggests it is ticketed....? I assume that you can pay at the gate?

No, all ticket according to the fishy site. According to the e tickets site we've sold 210 so far. Wiki says capacity is 3000 with 504 seated.

The stadium has a capacity of 3,000 (504 seated).

Yeah just quite a strange scenario lol. Just spoke to Sean (Mackie) and they are playing for Hibs tomorrow night, not City.

Surely they'll have to sell on the night, would be crazy not too, although wondering who would do it?

Agreed it would seem ridiculous not to allow pay at the gate... I've contacted a family member in the squad to ask... will wait and see what he comes back with.

You would be cheaper buying a pie at a bakers and not going to the game mate 😂

    This is how it feels

The £12 entry is a bit higher than I expected, but after the bonus of free parking at Ibrox I'll put the £7 saved towards a ticket for tonight.
