On his day Gary O was a good player. But I lost count of the number of times he turned up with his lead boots on.
Even if we paid him half of what he's on, I doubt he'd justify the cost.

Can't Championship clubs loan players in whenever they like and conversely, send players back at any time, thus making them much more attractive options for EPL clubs to send players to rather than up here where they will be gone 6 months minimum?

He's always maintained that he would like to finish his career with Hibs. This means we'll get a passed it, thirty something striker looking for one final pay day. I'd love him back in January, or even next summer, but I can't see him returning any time soon unfortunately.

He would certainly solve a few of our immediate problems! However, there is no way in the world that we could afford him on loan. Sad but true.

Only kidding that is perhaps a little harsh, but these two are very far apart in terms of ability. I am sure these guys on loan will be looking at the current hibs team thinking when I get back I am going to have a chance to fight, I dont see the problem with letting that build for a little longer.
Back to the man himself, I am sure he is probably enjoying life down south earning a stack and maybe, maybe not having to play!
