It's standard critic stuff, total dross but talked up by blow hards so it's popular to say it's a classic.

You could pick pretty much any cos I'm not a film person at all.
I'll go with the godfather because it gets talked about so often and I've never had any interest.

I’ve tried to watch It’s A Wonderful Life a few times. I just can’t get into it at all.

I got made to watch it when I was 15 in media studies at school, no doubt if I watched it again now I'd perhaps have a higher opinion but it's not going to happen

2001- A Space Odyssey.
I’ve tried watching it a few times and just can’t get past the first few minutes. No idea why, I usually love sci-fi.Every gimmick hungry yob,

On The Waterfront.
Have the DVD kicking around but never got round to watching it. May well dig it out shortly and give it a burl.

Braveheart - saw a clip of Mel Gibson butchering a Scottish accent and that put me right off.
ET - never appealed to me
Titanic - I struggle to watch fitba when I know the final score, so a movie about a big boat that sinks is not going to cut it with me.
Frozen - I’m an adult, it’s a kids movie - same goes for Potter and Twilight.
This feels good getting all this off my chest

The actual sinking bit drags on for ever as well. Filmmakers far too pleased with their effects budget.

Forrest Gump for me. Watched the first 10 minutes or so and took a real dislike to the way Hanks was acting the part.

Only watched the first 10 mins of Braveheart, looked dreadful. Never watched Top Gun but not sure if that’s a classic?

Mutiny on the Bounty
You know the one set at sea, I can’t for the life of me recall the name of the ship it all plays out on though.

Can't argue with the soundtrack and there are a couple of scenes that will always hit the 'Best Five Hundred Scenes Ever' on the channels that run those showsLast edited by Mibbes Aye; 08-05-2020 at 10:30 PM.
There's only one thing better than a Hibs calendar and that's two Hibs calendars
