Think Cameron Smith will be there or there abouts - awesome putter. Quite fancy Abraham Ancer after a strong showing in the recent matchplay and possibly Will Zalatoris.

I like the Masters and its great viewing but sometimes feel it doesn't punish bad shots enough and turns into a putting contest more than other majors.

Well it looks like they are all, bar Ancer, playing the weekend.

Ancer was my main interest. Seen more of tiger woods’ sandwiches than I did Abraham’s shots.

Im, gooch and Garcia now have some sort of place chance for me now.

Haven’t ever backed Scheffler for anything but can’t argue if he goes on and wins from here. Really is playing like the world number 1.

Second post of this thread I went for Cam Smith and Corey Conners as the outside bet

It will be difficult but I think Smith can overturn the 3 strokes against the World number 1

Also think Conners will be placed in top 4/5

Just need Bob to make a few birdies ��

I watched Bob and think he’s been a bit unlucky to be 6 over.

Scheffler is my pre tournament main bet, for a good lift, but I think he will bottle it. I’ve also got in-play bets on Smith and Im, so if one of the three wins, I’m going to be ahead. I really can't see anyone else in the frame, but I’ve said that before.

Woods is arguably the greatest golfer that ever lived. He's also the most well known sports person in the world, certainly in the golfing world.

At the age of 46, he just managed to play 72 highly competent holes in the Masters after 18 months out injured. despite being in considerable pain.

He is loved by the crowds more than any other golfer and the reception he received as he left the course was as rapturous as it was for the eventual winner.

Acknowledging all that is not sychophancy.

In addition, I saw all the golf that really mattered from Day 1. I missed nothing that mattered because of Woods or anyone else.

Why do the vast majority of professional golfers lean on their putters, sometimes pointing the toe into the grass when retrieving their ball from the hole?
They have to know there will be an indentation for the next one to come along.

I've played golf for donkeys years and never once leant on my putter. Is it just mass gamesmanship?
