Certainly a great night.
I remember the Hibs fans collective groan when Murdock went to take a penalty, he sent the keeper the wrong way with the best penalty of the night.
Anderson in goals was great that night too.
And how quiet were the Huns until the penalties?

very much so
i was working in a bar in east kilbride at the time, full of rangers supporters, i was going crazy and a few of them started giving me grief because they presumed i was a celtic fan just happy to see them get beaten, that was until the extremely large bouncer (doorman, not hibee unfortunately) went up to them and said "that lads a hibee through and through and he'll cheer whenever he wants lad, you got a problem with that?" funnily enough they didnt. actually in fairness to them they were sound the rest of the nigt once they found out i was an actual hibs fan

A Great night. Have been in Hibs crowds at Hampden 4 times the size who made half the noise.
Brilliant.

I've been to some pretty memorale Hibs game but that tops the lot, i can clearly remember the Mols goal, Arteta missing the pen in the first half and the equaliser down our end.
Went crazy when DeBoer missed, just remember me and my Dad grabbing everybody.
Magic memories
Ps anybody got a link for the full highlights, including pens?

I was there with two kids while my oldest girl was at home. Her boyfriend was also at the game. He got so excited at the end of extra time he phoned her and told her to turn the telly on. She watched as the camera panned around our end, pausing to focus briefly on a blonde 13 year-old, her sister. In the next seat you could just make out her dad silently going ape with anxiety...

It's a toss up between this and the Athens game for my best ever but I reckon this probably shades it.

That game was probably the most fun I've had as a Hibs fan. First time I've seen the end since I was there. Fantastic stuff.
