It made sense to me and the guy I responded to
I think the point is, much of the ITK stuff on here needs taken with a large pinch of salt.

Might not be every one’s cup of tea but Everton sign Thierno Barry a 6’5 Striker for £27m.

Hopefully the Italian article is true. I think a matured Henderson, at this stage of his career and with over 100 games in Serie A would be a brilliant signing. Already knows what Hibs and SDG are all about.

Henderson would be a good signing if he wanted to come back. Will come down to what offers he has on the table (if we have an interest) but I reckon he’s one who might feel like he has a bit of unfinished business here. I know he won the cup but he was only here for a year and clearly loved it.
Bit of a different player to when he was here before but I was surprised with his numbers when I looked. 6 goals and 16 assists so had done plenty before he hit those two corners!

Also said Findlay didn’t score well on the ZX spectrum but McInnes insisted on having him.
He seemingly also said that Mulligan was put through the super duper computer but the analytics didn’t score high …. But they never really wanted him anywayplaying to the crowd !!
One hundred per cent they wanted him or they wouldn’t have done the analysis !!
They effin hate to think a player would choose us over them - love it

Anyone know why Obita not in squad tonight?
Wonder if there’s truth in a Bournemouth left wing back and Obita wants to be a starter for AFCON and World Cup

If we don’t get a midfielder in that is going to help the defence out that’s going to be a big problem. Needs sorted now.

First choice team I think looks a bit light up front but other than that, should be fine. Miller’s injury is a big problem as we lose a lot when he’s not there.
This won’t be a popular opinion but I struggle a bit to see Bowie as a starter. I expect him to continue to cause major problems if put on for the last half hour against a roughed up defence but I don’t know if I see him having the same sort of effect from the start.
I’m not all that concerned about the midfield and the Triantis saga tbh, I think we’ve got just about enough to get by there.

We are totally missing the drive and physical presence of Triantis.
Hope we can get him or similar in soon as we are really lacking height physicality and someone setting the tempo in there.

Be better for both parties if he moved on this window.

A good player makes the back line better. Triantis was like a hybrid type player who could defend but also get forward - not easy to find but he made a massive difference.
I still think we need to replace..
Myko
Gayle
Triantis
That’s 3 players who contributed a lot last season. I know we have added but we have also lost NMW too.
Bowie hasn’t played 90 mins for a long long time let alone x2 90 min games in a row. Play him too often and hamstring will go again. Youan can’t be relied on - if he stays and focused fine but we need more up front.
16 days till the Euro away first leg - ideally need a player training with the team before then to settle in a bit.

Think it's probably more not relying on him anymore, before when there was no Mcginn Villa struggled in midfield. Now there's Mcginn, Kamara, Tielemans, Onana for the centre mid roles. Mcginn probably being third choice and if Villa go and get wingers as expected, he'll drop down there also as he's often deployed out wide/up the top end.
He's been some player though and a joy for me being he left my team to my English team! There's every chance he stays at Villa for years to come just not as a main starter but I doubt he'd want that. Gives me the vibes of a player that wants to play every game

Tonight's game kind of emphasises that we need either Triantis or his replacement ASAP. If he's not prepared to make a decision in the next week to 10 days maximum, we really need to make the decision for him. We cannot afford to wait much longer and I'd also like his replacement - if that's where it's going - to be in sooner rather than later and feel wanted rather than second choice.
