Sinner got lucky there , looked like he was on his way home
Very unfortunate for his opponent. You'd never write off Sinner but Dimitrov was playing out of his skin. Possibly overstretched himself bearing in mind his injury plagued career of late.

Can't happen now, they've disabled the manual switch off. Why it was in place in the first place is anyone's guess.

Disappointed in De Minaur, thought he had Djokovic today.
He should have had him. Frustrating.

Did I hear correct that this was the third time he's had to withdraw from the Slams this year?! The boy either has no luck, or is rushing back before fully fit (is it the same injury?).
It's hard to stitch my own back with these shaky hands
But even harder to accept the scars you left were planned

Shelton is rock star. Id like to see him win it.

He'd had to retire from his previous four slams, going back to last year's Wimbledon, due to injuries sustained. Most have been leg/knee injuries I think but he pulled of Queen's just before Wimbledon so he perhaps had rushed his recovery. He'd have had to be giving every fibre of his energy to get two sets up on Sinner so his body maybe just can't cope.

Meek exit from Norrie. The internet now full of ‘not really a brit’ chat again.

Was just reading that Andy Murray got to the quarters at Wimbledon every year from 2007-2016. As well as his titles and wins his level of amazing longevity and consistency gets taken for granted i think.

Murray was built different to your average British player , be a long time until we see someone do what he did . Wasn't just Wimbledon he did it at all the slams , Olympics, masters and Davis Cup . Having to slug it out with the 3 best players of all time

I think it's his all round personality (or lack of) that a lot of people can't get behind. Doesn't really appear to have the desire although he's done really well to get as far as he has with a limited game. When the likes of Murray lost a game like that he'd be totally distraught. Yeah everyone has a different way of dealing with it but the crowd just want a bit more passion.

Norrie on court seems to be a bit of a dick. Happy to engage in gamesmanship, slow play.

Interestingly there was none of that last night, mainly because he knew he had no chance and took an absolute tanking.

Cracking match shaping up between Sinner and Shelton.

Shelton v Alcaraz would be a fun final, but after their incredible French Open final I'd also be happy to see Sinner and Alcaraz go toe to toe again.

Djokovic seems to have a remarkably unchallenging draw. Did somebody big get knocked out that he'd have been scheduled to play? Never really been my cup of tea as a player so hopefully someone will take care of him before the final.

Aside from his mum's undoubted input, Murray's success had next to nothing to do with British tennis. Moving to Spain to train was key to his breakthrough. Prior to that, Henman was as good as it got for British players post-Fred Perry!

It's interesting to see a couple of the better British players these days emerging via the US college route.

Djokovic isn’t many people’s cup of tea but you cannot argue his dedication and achievements. Incredible athlete

Fingers crossed Sinner sends him packing, although you could see his elbow injury was bothering Sinner today.

I'd prefer both to lose. The preferential treatment Sinner got for his drug test fail was appalling.

Sabalenka Anisimova must be one of the great Wimbledon semi finals. Great watch.
