Any idea if Lewis Gillie is injured or staying with the senior squad for tomorrow night?

Game stopped as one of the Hibs players - not sure who - is down with what appears to be a serious neck injury. Jumped for a header, didn't look like a head clash.

That does not sound good.. fingers crossed it is just a precaution and not as bad as feared.

Was actually a fairly average challenge - if anything thought the Penicuik player came off worse.

Young lad didn’t get up and clear how the doc was treating him it was a bit of a nasty one. Hope it was over caution due to preseason

I’d question why we’re even playing Penicuik. Well known the team (and the town) are full of yams. Only takes one of them to play the hard man and deliberately cause a serious injury.

Why is this? Why do fans of particular clubs appear to congregate in certain towns?
Just to survey this swathe of sea and green, of turf, earth, stone and steel, is to be touched by the swirling spirits of those 'wild Irishmen' whose club with its 'outlandish name' has made this corner of Caledonia forever Hibernian

What a lot of nonsense, plenty Hibs in Penicuik.

As posted by someone else, it was a fairly innocent challenge for a header, nothing aggressive or sinister as far as I could tell.

On that basis let’s hope none of these young players are good enough to play at international level in case those pesky foreigners are big and scary.

This isn’t the 70s mate - Penicuik (mid and East Lothian) must be some of the fastest growing areas in Scotland. There are plenty of Hibs fans out here.

As for the football team - is not full of “local” players. Coaching staff is currently 2 ex-Hibs players (albeit youth) with almost a brand new team. Captained by ex Hibs player who has been at the club for 3/4 years now

Bizarre attitude and actually just nonsense too

    That's great news.

When they abandoned the game you can't help but fear the worst.

Ah good news. Who was the player? I only recognised Cleland, Jimenez and Whitaker and I knew it wasn't them.
