I'm not sure that's the case. If anything his post-referendum stuff has had a bigger impact. Definitely a major media player in what was to become the SNP embezzlement investigation as well as the gender reform saga and possibly the botched prosecution of Rangers directors. I haven't kept up with his stuff lately but it was always exhaustively researched. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Good for Indy but the SNP still need to lift their game. I suspect we are heading for Sarwar as FM.

It's a moot point anyway as as things stand SNP will be the biggest party and ironically Swinney will probably use the Greens to get back in the driving seat, albeit in an automatic with cruise control engaged.

Labour will never do a deal with Reform in Scotland, simply as it would be political suicide and an easy SNP win. Reform might back then to get first minister as an anti independence choice.

Shes not a politcian, she's a "personality", which counts as a celebrity in today's world.

Impressive Holyrood leaders post-Salmond are thin on the ground to non-existent and I just thought she was one who at least carried a bit of clout. Bar perhaps Lamont, I toiled to get behind the series of incompetents and dullards Labour rolled out (Dugdale, Murphy, Leonard...even Gray's Hibby credentials didn't really tip the scales for me), but Sturgeon was the only one I could really could not stand.

I thought Sturgeon was hopeless? What does that tell you about the opposition?
She took part in a regional Punch and Judy show for a few years then retired to the Lords.
The condition the country is in has nothing to do with Ruth Davidson, for better or worse. (excl. expences)
How can you be impressed by that?

If Reform say they will vote for Sarwar to keep the SNP out he’ll gladly accept the votes.

I guess everyone forgets Nigel Farage saying he would rather have the SNP in power than Labour?

I've explained what I thought Davidson did relatively well. It's clear you disagree. Not a big deal really, but you seem determined to tell me how wrong I am.
