I find it baffling football players don’t get to that sort of body fat % when they’re tearing through 5k extra calories a week over the average person."...when Hibs won the Scottish Cup final and that celebration, Sunshine on Leith? I don’t think there’s a better football celebration ever in the game.”
Sir Alex Ferguson

The amount of ***** getting spouted by the media about them at the moment is staggering. Yet to see a bad word spoken. Its quite embarrassing to read.

In particular, journalists only looking at one side of the transfer balance sheet is embarrassing.

There seems to be a collective memory lapse that Hearts were utter garbage last year and they’ve now sold their best player. Wow, 10 new players from lower leagues to add to the already bloated squad. Is there even room for them all amongst the students at the Heriot-Watt Sports Centre changing rooms?
The analytics things is garbage and must be somewhat non existent at the level they are signing - yeah like there’s some guy sitting at Serie D matches amongst the 600 crowd taking note of all the players movements and tapping it in to Jamestown’s MacBook?
How do they expect £9.8m to make a difference when the previous £55m of donations they spent disappeared quicker than a tin can submersible taking a trip over the Titanic. Tony Bloom is just the next in line has been conned by an old lady and a fat guy who looks like a potato.

When it boils down to it, it gives them all down gorgie way a new thing to obsess about.
It distracts from the reality of zero trophies since wee Ann took over, from the pissing away £50m donations, two relegations etc etc. a seriously bad underperformance on all levels.
They can tell all and sundry the analytics is world leading and even when it fails massively they will likely have 1 or 2 examples that it’s just about work, give it a year or two or five…
And the disrupt new buzz word can mean so much to many. It’s intended to mean a challenge / split the OF but they can redefine it when they (if the ever do) win a game against either of the OF. A flukey 1-0 end of season game can be “the proof they are disrupting Scottish football”.
It’s all down to being the big team, ignoring the facts and the past. And nobody will tell them otherwise. Trully the oddest bunch of weirdos.

They are a baw hair away from the hysteria around the time they all stated wearing Russian hats. Very weird fanbase.

Which is why it was such a surprise to see him go with Hearts, other than to try and **** us.

As an aside, it is amazing how they all seem to be fans of these other clubs now.
At one point I thought I was in a chat with USG supporters, peculiar.

They are still the media darlings with them lapping it up and as someone else has posted not one question about the £50 million plus splurged and two relegations to show for it.

If you take the average of his body fat and Shankland's, it only comes to 35%.

Yes, that is embarrassing.
Tbh I am surprised at this, because the media narrative is that Brighton are very frugal and have traded their way to success.
Turns out they are just fat on EPL cash.

They will surely win it all this season, as no other team has a system that finds players that nobody else has spotted.

It was the same when Vlad owned them, Jambos getting obsessive about FC Kaunas reserves or whatever.
Maybe this is why people pump money into Hearts? A ready made adoring crowd of windae lickers to puff up the ego.

I am sure it will all end in tears, it is Hearts after all. It still has echoes of the Springfield mono-rail.

That model can work in the EPL because you earn around £150 million a year in prize money.
It doesn’t take a genius to work out that £2 million for coming 3rd in the SPL doesn’t subsidise the risk.

In their last accounts(23/24) Brighton had a net transfer deficit of £9million. Even £100million over 5 years is only a£20million a year average. And it must be working because their aggregate profit over the last 3 financial years is the highest in the EPL.It won’t work up here because obviously Scottish football can’t generate anything like that but if Hearts supporters can put up with a revolving door of players it should generate enough to make it worthwhile.
