About 13,000 regular seats. There's somewhere around 1,300 hospitality seats that Hibs don't include on the stadium seat map. So the comfy seats would have needed to sell like hotcakes too for 14,000 tickets to have been sold.

Any total over 13,000 is more than decent, especially on the back of a season where we didn't actually win anything, or even make it to Hampden. If we could hit between 13,500 and 14,000 by the time the league kicks off, Hibs will be justified in expressing a great deal of pleasure in the fact.

I would add that the dissatisfaction Hibs have expressed in not having the opening game at home in the past comes into play here as well. For the second season in a row we will be away on the first day, and being at home would have guaranteed us at least 18,000 no matter the opposition. Not so much if we fail to get a positive result away to Dundee on the first day.
