The season ticket T&Cs make it clear that STs are not directly transferrable.

Marinello 8:37 yesterday shows the details lifted from the relevant section of the clubs website.. I am coming to realise that most of what people post in absolute certainty is actually poorly researched and just an opinion of fact based on nothing at all.

In the shop this afternoon as granddaughter getting her photo with the womens championship trophy. Trying to get a strip for my other granddaughter who is 5. They had spread tops for 4 year olds over 6 hangers with 3 on each hanger. What the **** is the point of that. No other kids tops available.

The ST T&Cs state they are not directly transferrable. What is wrong about that?

Did you read marinello post I referred you to? Can you post t&c’s you refer to? If true would be an astonishing contradiction.

Go look at the website. There are ways you can transfer but you just can’t directly hand your ticket to someone else. Been that way forever.

The new CEO’s 1st job needs to be sorting the shop out, must be losing money hand over fist with it in its current state, was poor before fanatics but is woefully bad now.
Strips aside the merch is really poor, we should be selling all sorts of 150 years merch on top of the usual offerings.

Found t&c’s on google, Hibs don’t make it easy to read and understand information clearly https://s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/g...fbf2c1feb4.pdf

I'm not sure how much say Hibs have because it's all outsourced to Fanatics. It's something I always feel would be better served being done in house but I suppose that's easy to say when you don't have access to all the financials.

There was the story last year about the guy getting a Sunderland strip when he ordered online because all the stuff comes from a central Fanatics warehouse. For all that's a **** up the logistics of online ordering are probably better served by a big company than trying to do it alone.

So you can transfer your ticket to a family member or friend free of charge.. previously you stated you cannot transfer your ticket that is as I said wrong. If you read the season ticket t&c’s posted it also says this albeit as intimated in an overly complicated way.

My main bug to bear is that the communication on this stuff is very poor from the club which is probably why there are so many incorrect statements telating to hospitality and the discount / season ticket transfers / exchange

As I said. You cannot transfer directly re the T&Cs.

Ok so the semantics are what is important to you. I can’t legitimately hand you my season ticket but I can tell the club you will be attending in my place and they will provide you with a ticket for that match = you can transfer tickets. Have some dignity and stop doubling down and admit when you were mistaken.

You are coming across as an idiot.

You’ve been wrong since the start.

If you can’t understand one simple line from the T&Cs then this explains your situation.

I said you can’t transfer direct. This is straight from the T&Cs. Embarrassing that you seem to think there’s something wrong in that.

You are obsessed with this direct transfer which I have never mentioned. I wanted to transfer my ticket to a family member so my young son could still attend the derby whilst I was at hospitality. This is absolutely acceptable as long as I inform the club. They will then issue that person a ticket to attend in my place.

My original question was about the club releasing the ticket back for general sale in exchange for the season ticket discount of 10% off hospitality costs. My feeling is that an advertised benefit should have no strings attached in the same way the 10%discount at the kiosks operates for example. There is no mention of needing to trade your existing ticket to attain this benefit which I feel is unfair.

You have went off at a tangent that seems largely irrelevant to the point I was making as it is possible to give your ticket to another person.

For anyone wanting to find the customer charter go to website. Click 3 bar menu, click club, click policies and scroll down to customer charter. It details all the benefits of being a season ticket holder. It includes free entry to a pre season game; 10% discount off hospitality, kiosks and venue hire. At the kiosks you need to hand in the sandwich you would otherwise have eatenfor lunch that day; venue hire requires you allow the club to resell your living room for the period of the event; hospitality the club get to resell your seat. 😂 all equally ridiculous suggestions imo. Thanks for all the responses.. passed some time waiting for new signings.

Haha.. thankfully I ordered online 😂 It sounds horrendous though which is a real shame when we are all feeling so positive about the football side and it’s the commercial bit that now seems to be on the wane. Hopefully Dan is the man!

I think our paths have crossed before.
I used to work for Kellogg’s. Are you a cereal complainer?

Pre season can be a difficult time with no football to keep us occupied.
I hope next season brings us all much joy and happiness.

    Best wishes x

Haha..I’ll add that to my repertoire! With regard to the football supporting bit I am there through thick and thin staying behind to clap the team off the pitch no matter the result or what I think of the performance. However, my wife says that I could argue with an empty house, debate with my shadow etc… so perhaps I can be a bit frosty at times 😁

Respect your opinion but can you back it up with any club literature saying that at the time season tickets are being purchased? I can see plenty stating that season ticket holders are entitled to a 10% discount on hospitality which appears at face value to have no strings attached. This is similar to 10% discount at food kiosks on match days etc.

I think some of you are missing the point. My issue is if there are conditions they should be stated at the time of buying the season ticket and not in the small print after you buy hospitality.
You’re really misunderstanding this ST discount for hospitality. It’s not a perk. It’s a gesture by the club to recognise that you’ve already paid for your ST seat for that game, and to part way subsidise the cost of your moved seat (to hospitality).

In the same way that if you move your seat to another part of the ground (which ST holders are entitled to do 6x per season free of charge), Hibs can resell your ST seat. It’s no longer yours for that game.

It’s the same thing. You had a purchased seat (ST). You’ve then moved seat (to hospitality). Your original ST seat is then Hibs’ to resell. Obviously you do not retain ownership of two seats for that game.

I know you’re saying that it should be communicated better but I’d say it’s a fairly simple concept to grasp that shouldn’t really need spelled out by the club?

I am done messaging about this topic now. I respectfully disagree with your opinion and feel it is you that is misunderstanding the season ticket discount . That is of course only my opinion same as yours is only your opinion. I hope that is a simple concept a rude person like you can grasp.

The Customer Charter on the club website looks as though it’s from last season and hasn’t been updated. It was signed by Ben Kensell on 26/01/2024.

I’ve no idea if it gets updated each season though.

I suspect it’s now out of date and should be deleted. The terms and conditions we were presented with when we renewed this season were different but they are the ones that count as we all signed up on that basis.

So if you asked Hibs to move your ST seat to another part of the ground for one game, you’d expect to still be able to control who sits in your original ST seat as well? That’s ludicrous.

It’s the exact same thing. Your hospitality IS a moved seat. It’s not a gift experience that Hibs are giving you because you’re a ST holder. You’ve just essentially moved seat for the game.

Not my intention to come across as rude at all but it annoys me when people criticise the club for doing nothing wrong, and if you’re going to derail a thread on here about the club shop to dig at the club for a total non issue then you’re inviting a rebuttal.

If you reassign yourself to another seat in the ground (which includes hospitality) you do not own two seats for the game, simple. That is not an opinion or open for debate, it is a fact.

I get what you’re saying but they don’t actually resell your seat if you buy hospitality from my experience. I had it for the Derby in March and no one was sat beside my group despite it being sold out.
