The falling out of windows thing – is it known why they approach it like this, rather than attempting to bump folk off in a genuinely clandestine way?
Is the idea that each individual death has some level of deniability (as accident/suicide, rather than being gunned down in the street or whatever), but the constant repetition means that everyone knows the possible consequences of stepping out of line?

A bit surprised more wasn't made of this on here.
An incredible feat, 18 months in the planning.
Quite incredible Ukraine still has the capabilities to do something like this after 3 years of war, in the early stages I thought Russia would waltz through.
Amazing."...when Hibs won the Scottish Cup final and that celebration, Sunshine on Leith? I don’t think there’s a better football celebration ever in the game.”

F16 managed to take down first Russian fighter plane last night. No doubt helped by their new Swedish AWAC.

I thought the mineral deal was the key to peace in the Ukraine.
I'm sure that's how Ronald McDonald portrayed it.

But as I’ve said before we underestimate Russia at our peril. They are extremely versatile people, far less decadent that those of us over here in the Western hemisphere.
Hardship is woven through the Russian backstory.

I imagine they will try printing money but they already have massive inflation. That will take them to hyper inflation. It will be like 2008 for them but with the disadvantage that they have no way of borrowing money like we did. I think they have all their fingers and toes in the dyke just now but eventually it will break.
They are a docile population but when the system collapses they will eventually stand up for themselves. They did in 1917 when they were also fighting a war abroad. And when the money dried up the troops heading home and caused carnage. I would not be surprised to see the same again.
