I've been advocating this for a good while.

Great this has been done now while the legend is still alive and well.

Phenomenal. Seeing Pat’s video that’s up on YouTube just brought a tear to my eye.

Given his relation to a key founder of the club it is also more than fitting timing.

Grew up on stories of how Pat Stanton was mr hibs, I’ve managed to say hello passing him a few times and although I didn’t see him play my Grandad used to tell me how good a player he was(he also used to tell me he was at his wedding everytime the whiskey was out🤷🏼*♂️😂). Tremendous stuff from the club a great honour for a great ambassador. Congratulations 👏🏻I look forward to sitting in your stand next season GGTTH!!

It should have been done a while ago, but at least it will happen while the great man is still with us.
It's a great honour, and one that Pat rightly deserves
    Congratulations Pat.

That’s just lovely, really made me quite emotional 🥹

He was my Grandad’s favourite, he’d be made up we sat in the stand named after him 💚

Excellent news - great move by the club to recognise Mr Hibs with this honour. Couldn’t be more pleased for Pat Stanton.

Same. Having lost my Dad a while back when he said he wished his Dad was here that was me gone.

    Fantastic video 💚🥬
Well that was an emotional watch.
    Every gimmick hungry yob,
Digging gold from rock and roll
Grabs the mic to tell us,
    He'll die before he's sold.

Man that video gets you. The emotion on his face.

I was too young to see Pat play but any Hibee growing up in the years since he graced the pitch knee who he was and what he meant to Hibs. Now he is immortalised.

Great stuff. We need to keep at least one stand un-named so that we can call it the Sir David Gray stand in a few years time after the League and Cup double 😉

Fantastic news and , as some have already said , particularly appropriate this year given his family link to our first captain .
