Also heard Rangers and Celtic have massively cut their salaries, and reduce squad sizes etc. Will be running a lot more close to Hibs finances at the first team level.

By the looks of things it'll take a small miracle for us to reach the group stage. Would have to win the 2 matches then a further 2 matches presumably against harder opponents.
Defeats the purpose of the "Champions" league.

Pretty **** for them considering how well they've performed this season.

do you know if sellick was one of them ? or our city neighbours,
I think Scott mentioned it, they didn't specify but I would expect at least one of the Glasgow clubs to be one of them. Probably not so much Hearts

Heard from two different sources Rangers previously had an approx 2.5m annual budget

I thought we more than matched celtic in our games with them last season which was kinda surprising imo but i think overall celtic seemed affected by their european exploits, hope same doesn't happen to ours next season,

tbf - I think that was across the whole female dept. Including all the coaches etc. It soon adds up. I wonder if we might try and pinch a few players, or pick up some that haven't made the cut. Brownlie release from Hearts, Cornett from Rangers, Cavannagh from Celtic. Pretty sure we could still get a tune out of them.

Bit of an error claiming they are in the top league in the US. It's the top development league, but could also be a great place for us to pick up players. It tends to be Uni players that arent quite at the WSL level, or WSL players looking for game time.

I heard that the cut to Rangers budget was the equivalent of Hibs overall budget.

Brownlie I was disappointed we didn't try to re-sign when she went to Hearts, and we were so light at the back during the last 3 months of the season. I thought that was going to do for us.

Tbh I'd be delighted with any of them, all were very good players for us and continue to be, if not sure how they'd fit in as we have retained our mid. Would be a nice headache to have.

Cav has had a very frustrating time since her move from Hibs, might have a fire in her belly

A 10 team league! Does that mean playing each other 4 times a season to make it easier for the OF to win the league?

It explains it half way down there, but in effect the top six will play each other 4 times as the league splits into a group of six and a group of 4 who then play each other, top 6 for title etc and bottom 4 where one will be relegated and one will have to go into play off. Looks like they are trying to even out the difference with full time clubs, and make it more competitive. However it will be interesting to see if it runs to expected outcome.

somewhere in here :) imo just like the men i don't think the size of the league/amount of games makes it easier/harder for the OF though at least in the womens game we have a 3rd Glasgow side and last season we had ourselves triumphant

i've saw a few posts over the years on peoples thoughts about women's sides v boy youth sides so this scoreline will raise a few eyebrows, or maybe not

the Swiss women side playing at this years European championships played Luzern's U15's Boys side in a friendly, and lost 7-1

oh and this is not meant to cause any arguments

After playing Fortuna Hjørring, our women's team might be playing Young Boys (if they beat Apollon Ladies).
Too many obvious jokes about the team name, but what is their womens' team called? Young Girls? Young Boys Ladies? Wankdorf Young Ladyboys?

Delighted when I found out. I knew she was desperate to get back. So pleased it worked out.
