Thread: Hibs signings

    Hibs signings

I noticed on the other lots forum after we signed Josh Mulligan one of them posted that we are signing very well which has created quite a reaction from others in things getting posted like …

    McGrath is another Dhanda .
    Rocky is a bombscare.
    Never noticed Mulligan .
Not one of their signings would be guaranteed a place in our team.
When our derby wins were mentioned it was a case of .. we beat ourselves.
They’ll probably scrape top six …etc etc ..

    Panic followed denial and delusion

Jeebuz, we need to be more grateful, they're probably trying to help us avoid *****ing £50m+ for zero return.

Best left to fiddle with themselves

Must admit I've not had a look on the dark side for a good while.

Most of us would have predicted roughly that kind of bile anyway.

Given how they finished up last season and that none of us (even them) have seen most of their new signings, its an extraordinary take on things.

Seems they are still hurting from last seasons bottom 6 finish.

They firmly believe in their clubs ability to disrupt the pattern of domination of Scottish football which has been in place for far too long

Get in there Johnny Jambo, another £50m should get them to where they are today.

    The Hibs go marching on

Nobody but I do find the levels of delusion that some of them probably believe in some of the stuff they think is hilarious all the same .

Am hoping they take a few points off the Rangers enabling Hibs to finish 2nd. Disruption complete.

Didn't you say based on nothing, that Menneh would be part of the best midfield in Scotland the other day?

For anyone who is friends with Hearts fans (if you are willing to admit to it) are they as deluded as the ones on Kickback or is that just where their special cases congregate ? I only know one but he doesn’t go and barely comments about them.

Your missing the point though in one of them said ‘ Hibs are signing very well’ and now there’s a loads of posts trying to counter that , that are so far fetched they are laughable , shouldn’t be surprised though as I remember them talking about about splitting the OF and winning the league not that long ago .

Lol, I got a good mate who supports them. He is one of those hearts fans who gives it out, but takes the huff if any of his hibs or celtic mates give him banter back.

My hearts fan mates and I just have an unspoken agreement not to talk about football except in very general terms. Much better that way, and avoids the slow seepage of brain cells oozing out of my eyeballs.

I think I said if we got Triantis back that a midfield of McGrath , Manneh and Triantis outside the OF would probably be the best midfield in Scotland as things stand .. who’s do you think would have a better one like? 🤔

I think Kickback is more a bit extreme than the normal jumbo's opinions, but it's not a million miles off.

I work with three of them and they are all absolutely convinced that they'll finish 3rd (easily as well) and may challenge Rangers for second if Russell Martin doesn't do well. When I ask them what they're basing it on, it's nothing more than blind faith and delusion. They also seem to think McInnes is the new Guardiola.

I did see an article with McInnes saying they will have an advantage of us, Dundee United, Aberdeen, Celtic and rangers due to playing league cup group football.

We all know how it goes, one defeat Vs us and they'll want him gone.
