    Book Recommendation (Some HC)

    Hi folks,

If you’re looking for something to read then me and one of my mates Mark Fleming have released book. We met at The Changing Room programme at Hibs, an initiative designed to help people tackle mental health through football.

Sharing a love for many things such as Hibs and music we published an anthology called ‘Heids Up’ which contains short stories, memoirs and everything in between.

This was launched at the Portobello Book festival last year. We’ll be appearing at the international book festival in August (more on that to follow) and we’ve been endorsed by none other than Ian Rankin.

Here’s links for the book on Amazon or Tartan Moon, Marks self publishing platform

Also, stay tuned for Mental Hibees. Last season I documented every Hibs game and the impact on my mental health. Do I miss Hibs if I don’t go to a game? How much does social media impact the modern football fan? Stuff like that. I picked some season to cover!

    Thanks

‘Building resilience’ in schools is all the rage and Hibs certainly do that. Sounds like a great read.

Belated thanks for the replies and to everyone whose bought a copy of the book

It’s a bit weird trying to promote it. Feels a bit funny!

Mental Hibees - a diary account of every game last season and the impact they had on my mental health - will be out this year!
