I don't think we would be in a position to get this particular player but am sure there were plenty of English clubs who would happily have taken him.

I'm surprised we haven't had more of the fringe or youth players up from Bournemouth training with us to get a look at them. See Dundee are doing this just now with the Mexican team they are connected with.

Is that not the whole point of the tie-up?
Bournemouth lending us players that normally would be out of our reach?
As far as the playing link-up goes it’s been pretty thin gruel thus far.

Josh O'Connor signed for East Kilbride, not anywhere near the level I would have thought he should be so far.

Don’t want to sound cruel but the boy never ever looked like potential first team material at Hibs. I don’t think any of his loans were successful either. Good luck to him though.

My thinking as well, I guess it'll be unpopular but as yet I'm not seeing the value added.

Yes I get we've got some behind the scenes interactions that may or may not be behind what we've seen on the pitch recently, but that seems to me to be potentially prejudiced if they act to help/strengthen teams in the same league as us,for all the reasons mentioned above.

Plenty of clubs don’t allow players to move to direct competition. I don’t know why BKG would be any different as an organisation.

He was okay at Airdrie but couldn't quite crack the constant starting XI. But I think he's somewhere between a winger and a centre forward and still hasn't flourished in either role so far.

Player has as much say in the move as the club. Maybe he simply didn’t want to play for Hibs.

Some people seems a bit miffed and others are a bit more relaxed. It happens. Personally I was hoping we might see some more Bournemouth players coming our way and it might happen yet. But I’m not miffed about this one - especially if its true that the hun are covering the bulk of his wage.
