Lawrie Reilly's cortege definitely went past the East.

Yeah decent crowd. I noticed Rod Petrie there too. Quite a few reporters and TV crews too so will no doubt be covered in local BBC & STV news tonight.

Very good turnout. Hearse came up past the East and round the back of the South. Large group of camera crews at the South East corner. Very poignant and I welled up a bit as the cars went past. RIP STF - our saviour 🙌

Rod Petrie no longer has a moustache, I wasn't sure it was him to begin with.

I was fortunate (not sure that is the right word really) enough to attend the funeral Mass today.
It was a lovely service. Very much about Tom Farmer the family and community man. It was interesting to hear that he was baptised, made his first Communion, confirmed and married in the same church as his funeral was celebrated. As both Fr Jamie and STFs son said it was only right that he came home to Leith for his final voyage. Both Kit Gordon and Pat Stanton were in attendance from the club that I saw and I think I may have seen Leslie Robb as well.
I thought it was notable that among those in attendance were a fair few faces I recognised from the annual Archdiocesan Lourdes pilgrimage. That was a cause STF championed for years in terms of both his time and money. While the presence of miracles in the Lourdes waters is open to debate; the sense of community and hope fostered on these trips isn't and it's no real surprise it was a cause the man chose to support.
I believe there is another public memorial planned for later in the year which will hopefully give more Hibs fans a chance to pay their respects and thank the man.
