Looks like it might be a bun fight for tickets, 500 to hibs first, which has a waiting list of 100 .
Personally I know a lot of people who are going.
    I would predict 1200 to 1400.
Will the home end be sold out?
Don't think the waiting list is relevant.

Probably be 200/300 left for anyone outside of Hibs First I'd guess. 100 to the club/players, 300/400 to Hibs First (not all 500 will travel you'd imagine). 900 tickets from them should be enough. Similar numbers for Luzern & that was more attractive a tie, easier to get to etc.

They average 9.5k in the league, so decent crowds in a 12k stadium. At Q2 in the Champions League last year, they had a crowd of 8k. Which considering they had the tie won already & were playing Andoran opposition, seems pretty decent. Looks like they lose a few thousand seats in European games too (standing or segregation), 10.4k will be the max crowd for them in Europe.

Hibs First arent first to the tickets though.....

Players will be first then sponsors.
Hospitality will get the next shout.
    Hibs first
General Sale - however little there is left.

I don’t think there’ll be as many as that there. It’s quite difficult to get a gauge on it but it but it doesn’t feel, to me, that there are as many going to this one as Luzern a couple of years ago.

Surely season ticket holders should get priority before general sale? No?

General view is that they are not as good as Rangers (generally) or Celtic, but a fairly decent step above the rest of the Scottish league. As others have said, they will be favorites but over two legs we absolutely can get the job done. Keeping it close for the second leg is crucial.

AEK Athens were heavy favorites coming to play us. Anything is possible at a full Easter Road. A sell out should be a given. Sadly we have struggled to do this in Europe recently.
Still the school holidays for the home match which will see a lower attendance I'd imagine.

Why would hospitality be given precedence over Hibs First? Surely they would be lumped in with ST holders (as it's just a glorified ST) with General sale being last.

A lot will be waiting to see what the next draw is, this is an expensive trip compared to other potential ties. We took around 600 to Malmo, we will take more than that but 800 tickets will probably cover it.

True. Worth noting that UEFA require home teams to provide up to 200 premium/hospitality tickets to the away clubs, with the first 50 of those free. Which should mean a little more left for public sale in the away end, as you'd imagine Hibs would at least take the 50 for players/sponsors etc. if they needed it.

The super duper only if you are rich hospitality option offers first dibs on tickets as part of the package. One day.

Aye I agree. As long as we get the 800 or so tickets I think everyone travelling g will be all right. I was in quick and managed to get flights at decent costs, I know a couple of other folk who have knocked it on the head with where prices have got to now. There are still some affordable options out there but there is a big hassle element with them as well.

Don’t think we should be too afraid of a bunch of Lurpak loving, bacon making, Carslberg swilling, Little Mermaid ogling, Dane boys. Think their manager has a touch of the Hans Christian Andersons about him.

(Well that’s me exhausted my knowledge of the opposition)

If we beat Midtjyland then a win in Q3 would guarantee us group stage football. However, a loss in Q3 means we drop to the Conference PO and I'm nut sur e if we would be seeded in that tie or not meaning we could get teams live Villa again.
Aye, sorry, I meant two ties rather than 2 games.

But, being pedantic, you are still right.

Win two games and either don’t get beat as badly, or draw, in the two other games and we are into the groups!

Home attendance will depend on the score in the first leg.

I’ve been saying midgie land which would probably be more apt in they played in Scotland.
