    Hampden parking

Hi, I'm taking my daughter to Lana del Rey at Hampden next week and was looking for any recommendations for where to park close by that is safe and free ideally. It's been years since I drove for a game there and returned to smashed windows.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated 👍

I try and park up near kings park avenue. It is about 20 min or so walk however easier to get away going out via East Kilbride. Come in that way also via Ek. Think there are parking restrictions when concerts on but think that is just outside restricted zone

If you're at the East side Montford Avenue is just outside the events zone, always manage to find a space there when we're at Hampden.

I've started parking round by Titwood Cricket Ground. Loads of on street parking there on big, wide side streets. About a 20-25 minute walk to the ground. Loads of shops, pubs, cafes etc. on the walk up. You can actually jump on the train at Maxwell Park station to King's Park as well but the walk at the other end negates any time saving.

Right by the M77 so easy for getting there, albeit traffic can be a bit slow at some of the lights on the final stretch, and you usually get a flyer and right back on the motorway after games as well.

That would be my route/parking area for Scotland games, Jim

Thanks all for the responses, I'm liking the sound of Titwood but may go for the kings park avenue option.
    Cheers ggtth
